First time S&W owner
Just picked up my first M&P. I’ve always been a Glock guy but this thing feels nice in the hand and is a blast to shoot.

Just picked up this m&p9 2.0 compact with 4” barrel and night sights last week. Threw a stream light on it and put about 200 rounds through it so far with no malfunctions. Might put a red dot on at some point but for now I’m really liking the night sights. Ain’t she a beauty?

These bodyguards 2.0 are better than I expected. First .380 I've owned and definitely not disappointed!

Been looking to upgrade my carrry pistol. So, with labor day coming up, where is usually the best place to find decent deals for the Shield Plus or Shield Plus Performance Center? Should I be looking at local stores or online?
It'd be great to get a decent deal with a few extra 10rd/13rd mags.
Appreciate the suggestions!

My father is aways finding “deals”. Anyone tell me anything about this pistol. Thanks

Like the title says is accuracy a real issue or concern with M&Ps or just the internet over exaggerating?

Traded one of my guns for this beauty. Came with the optic and apex trigger and Floyd magwell and base plate. I added the Primatia extended and raised slide release since it's going to be in my carry rotation. What do y'all think?

Been a Glock guy for years. Always carried a Glock. And I’m not sure why, but the other day I just randomly thought “I’ve never owned a S&W”. That stuck in my head enough to say screw it. Sold my Glock 19 and picked this bad boy up today to become my new carry gun. Excited to put it through its paces and finally get a real taste of Smith & Wesson. 🤙 thanks for having me.

So I just ran into something kind of weird. The compliance state 10rd pistol comes with two 10 rd mags. One flush fit, one extended, I assume the size of the 12 for people that live in free states. Anyway, Smith doesn't sell extra extended 10rd mags. Wtf is that about? They ship them with the gun but don't offer them for sale?

First and foremost; no, I do not live in a restricted state. I live in NC where we thankfully do not have silly magazine restrictions.
I never use the 10 round magazine that came with my shield plus because it is so small that I cannot get a good grip on the pistol. I bought a pinkie extension so that my pinkie rests on the front-bottom of the mag, but my palm still hang off the back of the mag.
I would really love to just convert this magazine to a 12-round, 13-round, or even a 15-round magazine. Are there any baseplate extensions or anything like that which would add extra room for rounds in the magazine?

Anyone have a good recommendation for a 2.0 metal frame mag release that's not super extended? The factory one works but I wish it wasn't slopped towards the front of the frame. I finally took the factory competitor extended mag release off due to dropping mags

The performance center trigger is nice. But the plastic trigger is awful. I put the apex striker block in mine and it helped with the grittiness
Bigger problem is my trigger binds up pretty bad if you put a little pressure on it to the side.
I'm right handed and have biggish hands so if I put a little pressure on the trigger to the left it binds up.
Now is this a big problem? No because i pull the trigger straight back. But from a QC point of view I feel like this binding shouldnt be happening. Does anyone else's PC shield do this?

I've been daily driving a Tenicor VELO5 (non-LUX) at 1o'clock for about 6 months now, and it's the closest I've come to genuinely forgetting it's on me, at least in terms of feeling.
So you can imagine my heartbreak when, after installing my new .40 slide, I discovered that the top is machined just a biiiiit wider than the 9mm, and it no longer fits.
I have a Slim Fit Phalanx in the meantime that works, but the wing/retention mount point sticks out too far and digs pretty severely into my thigh while I'm seated, to the point where it's sometimes painful. I have the clips mounted as low as possible so the grip is nearly in my ribs, no relief.
Additionally, the fact that the wing mount screws pull double duty as retention adjustment means I have to choose between the modwing being mounted securely, and being able to actually draw the thing. Less than ideal.
It wears an Olight Baldr S while on nightstand duty, but I'll take a non-light-bearing holster if it has good positive engagement and sits on me as well as the Tenicor does.
Emphasis mine on on this being a metal frame - I know that the modern polymer frames have been updated to have the same extra-wide slide release, and so any .40 2.0 holster should work, but that should've still been true a year ago when I first bought this Phalanx, and instead I had to dremel out a section for the slide stop to fit down into it, so I'm skeptical.

Had my M&P 2.0 for about a year now, and absolutely love it after a couple thousand rounds. My LGS gave me a deal on a Shield Plus Carry On bundle I couldn't pass up. The only thing I wish is that it had an optic cut slide, but I can always grab one down the road if I want to use a dot. But the deal for the 4 extra 13rd mags and a Savior range bag is absolutely worth it.
Looking at holsters now, and leaning towards the Black Arch Protos-M for strong side carry.

Im trying to identify this part from my M&P 2.0. I’m new to the hobby and can’t figure out where this part fell from. I was cleaning it out and it just dropped from the slide opening. Any help is appreciated. I looked at numerous videos but none helped me identify it. I tried to post yesterday but didn’t attach the photo and just now had the chance to repost.

Be careful with holsters if you use a flashlight. At least for the 5.7 and a trl h1 it’s going to leave your trigger exposed a lot!

Any long term/high round count using osight se? I was thinking about getting the EPS carry, but dang, the price is getting into Trijicon territory. I only know osight/olight get a lot of hate, but I have a Pl pro on a range toy that's been petty great. Love to hear from folks that actually have experience with the se
