I know a lot of people are waiting for their 208gunshop 500 Dollar DD V7K uppers to come in, I actually bought the last one and just got it today.

I will say I had been wanting to put together an 11.5 or 12.5 as a do all gun for a couple years now (I actually have a 11.5 already but its a Colt 733 clone) but kept sleeping on various parts deals and somehow talked my self into picking up this 10.3 instead. Guess I will have to see if I can live being an inch shorter than all the cool kids.

Me personally. It’s always going to be the bcm mod 1 pistol grip.

Is the 500-600$ money slice worth it for the LMT? I know G$ is kinda top of the line but how does LMT hold up?

First AR15 build, started with the AR10 as an “all purpose rifle” but quickly realized it was a chunky boy and I wanted a 5.56 anyways

Bought the completed rifle so everything else is stock, still need to swap the HW muzzle brake onto it for can swapping, also need to fw the BUIS and scope placement now that I look at it (first rifle I ever bought)

Recommend to me h-3 buffer up from the h-1 I thought would be okay, Also I have 3 flavors of spring to try they are cheap enough it made sense to buy them and have on hand. Red extra power, blue semi-extra power, and a mil-spec carbine.

How do you slow down an FRT without messing with gas blocks? I have a DD 11.5 5.56 upper with a OCL infinity 556k with the medium end cap.

My goal is to have reliable LRBHO with both .223 and 5.56 while maintaining a good controllable cyclic rate. From what I’ve heard a heavier buffer weight and a lighter buffer spring slows down cyclic rate.

Would a H3 paired with a Tubbs light weight buffer spring be my best option?

The rear takedown pin don’t seat on a new lower I just assembled last night. Nothing will get it to seat. There are 2x different brand of uppers I’ve tried to get to seat (radical and nbs) and I am at my wits end. One photos I have the forward pin in and there is a large gap in between the upper and lower. If I take it out it sits flush but still can’t get the rear takedown pin to seat. Any advice is appreciated as this is my second ever build.

Aimpoint battery conversion kit by Battlekit. No more shitty tiny batteries that costs a fortune and only are used in ur Aimpoint. Good ol 123s. Battlekit claims the dot will have an exorbitantly longer lifespan now as well. Not sponsored lol, just spreading the good word as an option. Oops if I'm late to the game.

Also, rifle is a Colt LE6940, my one and only.

Extremely excited about this set up and super happy that I get to enjoy it now! Shot it today and loved how it felt. I personally didn’t find the 8t to be unbearably heavy, but i was putting it down every so often.

Just wanted to share a few ARs. 14.5 223 Wylde, 11.5 5.56, 10.5 300BLK. What should I build for my next one?.

This is my first AR build, so I’d appreciate some input from you guys.

Is this flashlight mount placement fine? The light is nearly even with the end of the flash hider. If I move the light further down the rail, it causes fitment issues with the Magpul MBUS front sight I have on.

Would you guys leave it like this, or would you remove the front sight to move the light farther back?

For years I didn’t get the hype of the radian raptor and was happy with the stock CH that came with my ar. Then I broke my wrist and after having a plate and 10 screws installed to keep my arm together I developed nerve damage and a nagging case of carpal tunnel and couldn’t grip the old CH. I bought a radian this morning and it was soooooo easy to use. Honestly wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to enjoy the sport again but today made me so happy
