I have made this work fairly simply. And video you see online about making it work is true, but underestimated on how much material to remove from the trigger bar. Feel free to comment any questions or Opinions. I run both suppressed and un suppressed, super and sub sonic.

Looking to build an SBR backpacking gun. Does this configuration work with the stock grip?

I'm also hoping to get a low profile picatinny rail with a removable thermal scope for this setup (Rix Storm S3). Does anyone make a rail that allows the use of the iron sights when the optic is removed?

I’m putting together a “charger” and all I need now is a barrel. Ballistic and Shaw are all out of stock and not sure if I should wait or just go with a stainless barrel. The whole build is black including the suppressor so aesthetically I feel it would be weird with stainless. I feel like I’ve looked everywhere but if anyone knows just let me know. Thanks

A little pricey but happy with my decision. Except for the ultra-cheap china scope that I only put on to look cool. The black Vortex I had is better lol.

I believe the basket weave is a classic IV. But I cannot find really anything online confirming this except for an expired Guns International for sale post that matches the guns look exactly. I bought both these around 2014 private party. Trying to figure out what to sell them for. The checkering styles and the monte carlo stock as well as the very nice wood tells me it is not some factory sportster but I could be wrong.

The barrel was nightmare to get in - took a great deal of fitting, and ultimately a little bit of gentle tapping with a rubber mallet. Haven't gotten to stretch it out yet, but so far seems to group decently with CCI Subsonic and Remington Quiets. I want to upgrade the trigger eventually - but it works fine for now.

My issue is the folding stock. A3 makes high quality product, but the hinge is huge. Typically I'm only seeing the smaller attachment sizes from braces. However, I was able to source a folder from Q that I'm using on a 308 SBR with a smaller hinge attachment style (photo attached).

I'm asking the community if there are any other options for a 1913 folder that would have a similar footprint to the Q. I've seen a couple options that look like they might be decent, but don't want to spend the money without feedback from others that may have used them. Specifically the Strike FSA looks like it might fit the bill, but I'm open to options.

With the tax stamp at $0, it's time to file a Form 1 and make a suppressor for my 10/22. The goal here is pest control without making the neighbors send 30 texts about who's shooting what. The problem is I have the factory, non-threaded barrel on there and I have a real small budget for this project. I've done some googling but the problem I'm running into is that there's so many options and I have no idea which ones are good vs junk vs overpriced.

What's the lowest-cost, lightest weight, 16-18"-ish, threaded barrel that's well enough made that I won't regret buying it?

I'm considering buying my first ever 10/22, and I know it's easy to go down the rabbit hole with these things - but I don't want to do that.

I like that the 32024 comes with the picatinny rail mounted from the factory which means it should be tight and right (compared to so many people that have been using the proper torque wrenches and still stripping out the bolt holes), and it comes with a better barrel. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The 32024 seems like a platform that I might be happy with for years without having to upgrade anything other than putting a bipod and optic on it.

If I lived on a farm or someplace like that I think that the 32000 would be just fine for work, but for the pleasure of shooting the 32024 (​​ I have never seen one let alone held one) seems like it would work out while keeping the total cost for the rifle under $425(?) or so. ​​​​​​ I've compared this to trying to build a budget 10/22 and a budget 10/22 is still going to come out to be $600 or $650 if I'm picking and choosing parts.

Since I just found that this subreddit existed today, ​​​​​​​​​​ I figured I would put it out to you folks to get any insight I could. ​ Yes, I might do some informal matches at the local shooting range once I get a 10/22. ​​​​​

Hello - im trying to have my 18 inch Kidd bull barrel float like it should in the KRG Bravo chasis. How do I use the A and B blocks that the receivers sits on and screws into to help with this fit?

The instructions said to flip around the A and B plates but it didn’t seem to make a difference? Do I invert them so the ledge part is facing up? So the letters face up? There are pill shaped pieces with a hole in the middle in the packaging parts bag. Do I use those on top of the A plate to raise the front of the receiver? Appreciate the help, new to this. Thx

Little update post! Only a few changes but thousands of rounds through it already!

Ive got an athlon 4x14x44 because I thought I was gonna be some 200y plinker but im kinda over the weight, interference with the charging handle, and eye box. While its cool to see that far its not practical and I want it off. I still want some magnification but not a optic that weighs more then the gun lol. I picked out the arken lh6 and the strike eagle, both come in around the same price. What other options and opinion do you guys got.

I cannot find the overall product length anywhere online. Will someone who owns one do me a solid and measure the overall length of their Hunter X-22? I want to camo one using RIT dye, but I first need to find a bucket or container that can hold the stock.

I'm sbr-ing all my ar lowers. Should I just include my 10/22 receiver while I'm at it JUST in case?

I know they got bought a year ago. Their 10/22 barrels seem to be getting harder and harder to find. I can't find an 18" Bull (fluted would be preferred) threaded anywhere right now.

Is Fedderson my best alternative? Not willing to go up to Kidd at this time.
