It's very strange that these "ultra realism" people never actually plays the game other than showing the graphics. I've seen nobody who actually played the story with these mods. I would expect at least one person who would do a playthrough with these graphics but no. Do people who download these mods only brag about how cool it looks then close the game without exception?

I see that a lot of people just leave their computer running 24/7 and only turn off their monitors, but i just shut my pc off whenever i go away from the desk.

I saw posted on gumtree a 3090 for £200...Which seems a little cheap. I messaged the buyer asking is it still avaliable and is there any chance i can come and take a look at it working and if its a good card, it's happily buy it there and then.
He was fine with that... an hour later he messages me saying someone wants the card and they'll send the money at 1pm bst time.....i explain id rather see the card working in front of me and make sure it's genuine because it seems a little too good to be true.
He then starts going on some tangent how he was in the army for 16 years and he can be trusted.
Yeah, be careful which people you try to do business with

DLSS 5 is still launching first on RTX 50 GPUs, but it’s officially coming to older RTX 40-series GPUs as well, Nvidia spokesperson Rajal Maharaj confirms to The Verge.

For the past 5 years I was planning to finally buy a PC and ditch gaming on my old laptop, constantly reading forums and keeping up with component prices, but life always got in the way. This was so important and so sacred to me I still can’t really believe it. Bought a prebuilt because where I live getting individual parts is much more expensive.
RTX 5060 OC
Intel Core Ultra 5 225F
Asus Prime H810M-A
16GB DDR5
1TB
650W PSU
NZXT H5 Flow

Finally had money for my new build, well, my already outdated new build, but I suppose my old GTX 1060 and Ryzen 7 1700 will keep handling the basic CAD modeling I will need.
Let's see how long until Microsoft forces me to move to Linux as well.

Finally finished my HDD teardown wall display.
Took apart an old Western Digital Caviar Blue WD3200AAKS (320GB) and mounted the individual components onto an A3 technical-layout print.
Tried to make it look like a little engineering/museum exhibit rather than just putting the parts in a frame. 😄
Parts included: top cover, chassis, platter, voice-coil actuator, spindle hub/clamp, VCM magnets, controller PCB, filters/breather parts, and the screws.
Pretty happy with how it turned out.
What do you guys think?

Final look! 🛠️
Got the finished WD3200AAKS teardown display mounted on the wall.
Really happy with how the actual parts + technical layout came together. Definitely looks better in person with the depth and glass.
Thanks for all the feedback on the original post!
