I already hold pixel 30W charger from my pixel 7 pro which charges my new pixel 11 pro xl upto 25W. After buying anker and returning it, I finally bought Pixel Flex Dual Port 67 W USB-C Fast Charger only to see the charge speed to be 28-30W. So if anyone have nt bought it yet, I think just use the old wall charger if you are seeing above 22W.
The 45W advertised speed will only come to 37W at max (what device receives) is nowhere it is close to the realistic speeds I am seeing (I am not going to toggle the Extreme Charging mode every time and its heating the battery to above 42 C which will damage the battery in long run).

They moved the NFC antenna on the 11 series, and it seems to have made passports more difficult to scan (specifically the Pro Fold). I've tried moving both the rear and top edge across the back cover, but nothing seems to work. NFC is on, I tried restarting the device, and my passport NFC chip does still function (my 9 Pro Fold still scans it fine.)

Had a pixel 7a, switched to an iPhone 17, couldn't handle the bad iOS UX, switched back to P11 pro. However I've noticed that the modem is not very good at switching between networks, worse than even my old 7a maybe. Not sure if I've just fucked a setting up somewhere. I have adaptive connectivity on and always keep mobile data on. If I leave my house while on some wifi call (Instagram video call for ex), the call drops for a solid 10s when the phone switches from WiFi to data. Anyone else notice this?

Let me start by saying I love my new Pixel. Upgraded from a 7 Pro and it is an amazing change. One question...I have setup the fingerprint scan for login but never get the opportunity to use it. My login always defaults to PIN? There must be a setting but I have not found it. Thanks!

​I’ve been noticing some frustrating behavior with the default camera app on my Pixel 11 Pro and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

​Whenever I take a photo, the camera app seems to automatically straighten or slightly crop/edit the image in the background right after I hit the shutter. I can often see it shifting the frame when I immediately open the photo in the gallery.

​Has anyone else noticed this on their Pixel 11 series?

Is there a setting I’m missing to turn this off completely?

Or is this just baked into Google's computational photography pipeline now and impossible to bypass?

I have been reading a lot of horror stories about people getting wrong information about their trade ins or Google saying that they provided the wrong device, or Google still charged them even with the trade in.

I wanted to share my success story with my trade-in. Other than them taking 5 days after trade in arrived for them say they had it, I experienced zero issues. They stated that my trade in value was estimated correctly and I received full value.

Edit. It was 8 days since they received it and this is in the US.

Traded in a Pixel 8 pro for a Pixel 11 pro through the Google Store, no cracks or damage. They finally assessed my trade-in and said it's not only a Pixel 7 pro, but it is also reported as lost and/or stolen. Will keep everyone updated.

I have a pixel 11 pro that I got recently and everything on it works great except for the microphone, I go to concerts and sometimes record myself playing guitar and there's a ton of clipping in the mic, any ideas on how to fix this? Is it a defective unit?

Hi. My Pixel 9 is paid for and the OEM unlock is enabled with USB debugging enabled as well.

When I go to the boot menu it says that the bootloader is locked with (Unlockable) next to it. Do I still need to go into Xfinity to have the bootloader unlocked? Is there another way to unlock it? The phone has been paid off for 2yrs.

I traded in my Pixel 8 Pro for the pre order. The package seems to be stuck in the Swindon Mail Centre for more than 48hrs. Very high chance that the package has been lost.

Has anyone faced such an issue? At what point should I contact customer care ?

I see a lot of hate on here and I wanted to quickly add my 2 cents. On paper and benchmarks everyone talks about the horrible processor but in every day use this phone shines so bright it's not even a competition.

- Clear Calling - I had to make phone calls at a County Fair and I could barely hear the person talking to me, I apologized to them for the loud noise and they said "what noise?"

- Photos Video - I have a 2 year old and 6 year old, you already know the drill here. Nails it every time. Magic Capture is amazing although the video it generates is noticeably a lower FPS but both create usable final products, decent videos and photos all with one click of a button. Video is top tier. I guess if you're a content creator you pixel peep videos but for 99% of normal use this phone takes amazing videos.

- Heat/ Battery / Modem - I had a Pixel 7 and 8 Pro XL and both had brutal heat and the battery melted away. I run dual sims, 5 email accounts, business and personal use. The new modem is doing it's job and on most days I'm ending my day with a 45% battery. This weekend my wife and I were out all day at an event with the kids in a heat warning taking lots of photos. I never noticed the Pixel was hot and at 4 pm my wife said "use your phone mine is dead (iPhone 16 Pro) and I looked at mine to see I was at 47%.

- Gaming - so I do Game but not CoD or PubG , heavy 3D. I will try them just out of boredom some days but they are not mandatory for me. I play Terraria with my 6 year old. No issues playing your basic Play Store games- but I get it - this is not the phone to get for bleeding edge gaming. Can't argue with that. If you casually play games on the train to work, couch boredom it's got enough just don't expect to play the latest PC Game ports on here.

- Rambler - not sure I could live without it now. Amazing tech and at work I'm a heavy Wispr Flow user. Great to see this built into the device.

- zero lag so far ever. It just blitzes through everything.

- Screen - super bright, nice and big. A dream to type on.

- Charging - not breaking records here but certainly fast enough now given the battery drain, modem, heat are efficient to not cause bad drain.

My all time favorite Pixel Phone was the 4XL in the Stormtrooper color with those orange buttons - I wish they made that again... But I can feel already that this will be a device I keep for 3 years.

Hello everyone, I want to buy a new, original battery for my Google Pixel 6. Is it possible for me to buy one while I'm in Morocco?

This is a new thing in one of the updates I've applied. Usually, if I'm on the phone, and a call comes in, it alerts me, and I can answer or end. However, it would not put the current call on hold.

Now, if I'm on a call and someone tries to call me, it puts the current call on hold until I decide to either answer or decline the new call. Normally if I don't want to answer the new call, I would just keep talking and let it ring out. Now, I have the end it immediately because the original call is live. Plus, it doesn't alert the other current call user. So they are just rambling and talking, and boom I've missed a few seconds of talking which is usually when the good details are said.

I didn't realize how often someone called in while on the phone with someone else.

... and it also prevents me from using the little drop down menu unless I unlock my phone and it causes me to repair my phone in order to stop the double clock error I have and it lasts for about 5 days before it happens again, been happening for about a month I'd say!

I dropped my p10pro trade in off at ups last Friday. No updates on tracking since then as the last update is that I dropped it off.

When should I be concerned or file a claim?

This is my first Pixel phone, and I was keen to try out the Action Pan feature that Pixels have, but it doesn't appear to be present within the camera app on my Fold.

It states in the specifications on the Google website that it should be present, but I can't find it.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

The pixel battery usage page is very useless when it comes to viewing meaningful statistics.

According to batteryguru when my screen is off my pixel is in deep doze about 75-85% of the time and awake for about 15-25% of the time, this has resulted in idle drain reaching up to 1.8%/hr.

I disabled AI core and on the very same day I hit 8% awake and 92% deep doze, this also resulted in my idle drain to be 0.6%/hr.

It stayed like that for two days and now its back to idle draining like crazy and awake is back to hovering around 20%.

I have no idea what helped the awake % go back down, so I'm wondering if there are any tools I could use to get better loggings and statistics to figure out what is keeping my phone awake so I can fix my awake % and the idle drain.

Any help is appreciated.

I am getting nowhere with Google Support and need to understand what to do next.

Shipped my trade-in off on 8/21 via the provided UPS drop-off box. Tracking confirms receipt on 8/27 and shows that it was signed for by Security in Mount Juliet, TN.

My Google Fi status is still showing as "awaiting device".

I contacted support and they're giving me the run-around and basically saying they can't do anything as the device has not been received.

I am kind of lost as to what to do at this point? Do I escalate this with my credit card company? But if I dona chargeback won't they just brick my new device or remove my Fi service?

Any suggestions? I would not have bought the new device without the trade in.

I've had the pixel line since the Pixel 7 and never noticed this issue until recently and with the Pixel 10 Pro. I specifically listen to Spotify or Amazon Music via bluetooth in my truck. I never noticed any issues until earlier this summer. I noticed while sitting in my yard, after the phone connects to my head unit and music starts playing, the music cuts out non stop until I get down the road a couple of blocks. I first assumed it was because of the wifi. This also happens when I pull back into the driveway. I specifically use "downloaded" music on Spotify and amazon music. I thought maybe it was only happening with Spotify because I downloaded all in "lossless", but tested with Amazon Music downloads and I get the same interference cutout. I recently noticed this also happens when I pass a couple of the local cell towers. Why is this happening? Is this an issue with the pixel hardware? I really don't want to reset my phone if this is a common issue. Note, I have a cell tower just down the street and get strong 5g signal at my house.
