Is the ACC replacing the football shaped ACC patches with a new simplified version? They have appeared on Virginia tech and Georgia techs uniforms so far. (The current patch being on the Pitt and North Carolina jerseys)

Why is the ACC the basketball black sheep of the Power 4?
The Power 4 conferences are dominating the news cycles lately. When referring to the quartet, the talk is predominantly about three of the four conferences. The ACC often becomes an afterthought when talking about the Power 4. @Collegehoopsguy has a breakdown!
