With CFB games starting really soon, what do you think of your team? Do you see despair, hope, dark horse candidate, or a legit team that can make the trip to Arlington?

UH will win the Big 12, be in the playoffs. Willie Fritz will then be poached by another school.

Roy Alexander. who played three games for the Red Raiders last fall before transferring to Incarnate Word, filed a lawsuit against the NCAA on Aug. 19 in Bexar County. District Court in Texas. The lawsuit alleges that the NCAA's suspension is unjust and constitutes breach of contract, and asks for a judge to issue an injunction to allow Alexander to return to the field earlier in his final season of eligibility.

The Week 1 games are pretty underwhelming this year. The Big 12 plays 9 FCS teams, 3 Group of 5 teams and 3 Power 4 Teams.
Colorado @ Georgia Tech
Baylor vs Auburn (Atlanta)
Boston College @ Cincinnati
Hopefully one of Baylor or Colorado can pull an upset and the Big 12 goes 2-1 in these games. A 1-2 record though is more likely and will be disappointing.
Oregon State @ Houston
Coastal Carolina @ West Virginia
Oklahoma State @ Tulsa
The Oklahoma State game will be the most interesting of these 3. They should get revenge on Tulsa from last season and the Big 12 goes 3-0 against these opponents.
Bethune @ UCF
Idaho @ Utah
Long Island @ Kansas
SE Missouri @ Iowa State
Nicholls @ Kansas State
Abilene Christian @ Texas Tech
Utah Tech @ BYU
Northern Arizona @ Arizona
Morgan State @ Arizona State
All of the Big 12 teams here are favored by 30 or more points. Everyone should take care of business against these FCS opponents.
Which game do you think will be the most exciting? Or any games that will be closer than people expect?

Chill. TCU beating UNC wouldn’t have changed anything; TCU losing to UNC doesn’t change anything. It is one non-conference game between two teams who everyone expected to win between 5 and 8 games this year and play in the Penske Automotive Nashville Bowl.
In the grand scheme of things, y’all need to take a gummy, chill the fuck out, and watch Hawaii vs Stanford or some shit.

Thank you for showing that we're a totally respectable conference that deserves a seat at the table
Here's the football power rankings for week 0, voted for by r/BigXII.

It's the preseason so there isn't much consensus. As the season goes on my script will start to filter out extreme outliers, but it's very forgiving early on. There were a couple notable outlier ballots this time, but they didn't end up having that much of an effect on the end results thanks to the high turnout.
A lot has changed in the off season. Since last year...
North Texas Oklahoma State jumped up 7 spots (7.64) from an almost unanimous last place. Expectations are high for Eric Morris's Mean Green Cowboys in year one.
Washington State Iowa State dropped 7 spots (6.98), barely escaping last place. Expectations are low for Jimmy Rogers's Cougars Cyclones in year one.
Cincinnati dropped 5 spots (4.4). I've seen a lot of Cincy fans saying this will be the year that gets Scott Satterfield fired. Anyone taking bets?
