Just bought an Ultimate club at this location and was suprised at how little meat she put on my sub. I considered adding double meat but its an extra 5.99.
The amount of meat I recieved was no where close to what I found online.
I recieved 4 ham, 2 turkey, 2 beef and the regular white cheese. Not sure if it matters but they also half the tomatoes and their cheese bread barely had any cheese.
Ill drive to doon or highland if I want Mr. Sub again.

She's a foodie, but does have a couple dietary restrictions. No meat, no dairy, but she can eat fish and eggs. Otherwise not picky about vegetables and trying new foods/drinks.
As we're from out of town, looking to compile a list of a few recommendations that I'll review before booking a reservation for us.
We're about 2 weeks out right now so plenty of time, hit me with all your favorite spots; drink joints; restaurants; or hole-in-the-walls that have something amazing.
Gracias in advance :)

Got bloodwork done on Friday last week 1:20pm I know it went to PHO online it states up to 3 days for non reactive it’s now late Thursday evening I’ve called the doctors everyday since Tuesday. No results. Beginning to panic more than I already was and getting a lot of mixed info. How long was your turn around time for your results?
And what were the results
I am concerned because it’s says online up to 6 days for reactions so idk what to make of it
I’m unsure what to do with myself gearing up for a long weekend

Throwaway here. I have an update on the attendance grading requirement for high schools. It seems the WRDSB is going to take an approach that skirts around a section of the enrolment register instructions (see page numbers 8-9, which is pages 15-16 of the pdf). The board has released their own policy document -- see pages 15 and 16 of this pdf for absence information.
Basically, they are taking a section of the register instructions that is intended for clearly-documented medical absences (requiring a program of study and a doctor's note), and expanding the definition to include any absence at all. The only catch is that a parent has to send an email (not a phone call) and has to stipulate a defined period of absence. So, a simple email like this should suffice for any high school student absence:
"John Smith will be away September 3. He will return September 4."
Parents of high school students in the WRDSB take note -- this is how you can ensure your child has no official absences in any class for this year. Classes missed: zero. And just like that, the WRDSB will have solved the issue of student absenteeism in one fell swoop!

Yesterday's widespread hydro outage should be a good reminder that something much more serious and prolonged could happen, including in the dead of Winter.
I posted something about owning a hand crank radio and the response was that 99% of people wouldn't even know what that is and that the cell networks always work. Don't be naive people... we're one cyberattack or large solar flare away from everything being out for days.

I'm attending a wedding and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for women's plus size formal wear? I'd prefer to shop in person if possible for something like this.

Can anyone recommend good companies for tree trimming and/or cable supports?
We tried to get a quote from K-W Tree Expert Co and it was ridiculous. We asked them to come out for a quote. After a couple quick emails with my partner cc'd (had to add them back multiple times), we agreed on a time. I noticed there was going to be a potential storm at the same time (ended up being the big storm yesterday which arrived a bit late), so I asked them in the morning if we're still good to meet. They immediately said yes.
As I was on my way home to meet them, I received a quote. So I quickly emailed them and asked if they don't need me anymore. Since I didn't hear back I went home.
Then we noticed the quote was likely for the wrong tree (they've trimmed this tree on several occasions for the previous owners). They confirmed it was the wrong tree and now we have to set up another time to meet. Needless to say I don't really want to do this again, but might have to if they're the only decent ones in town. Prefer someone more professional if possible.
Small note, the tree is not a city tree, so they won't deal with it... Not that they would anyway.

Hello!
I wanted to make more book friends and I always see other posts here about book clubs for specific genres, so I decided to make a Waterloo Region Book Club Discord server!
All types of book lovers are welcome, whether you read 100 books a year or 1, or just want a chill space to chat about what you’re currently reading.
I want this to be a low-pressure, inclusive, and friendly space to build a community over a shared love of books.
Join here: https://discord.gg/AajdWdjufG
Hope to see some of you in there! Feel free to drop any questions below.

I took a walk around my neighbourhood (Homer Watson/Pioneer) to see what if any damage occurred from last night's storms. Some big trees down, lots of debris in the form of small branches, Schneider Creek looks like it rose above its banks last night. I didn't see any damaged structures but I'm sure some backyards got hammered by falling trees and/or branches.
Can hear chainsaws firing up now as the cleanup begins.

Hi there!
I am looking for carpenter recommendations to add shutters to the front of our home & a door surround.
OR a reliable contractor that takes on small projects.
Thank you!

Does anyone know of a local place or special hair salon I can go to and donate my hair? It’s not extremely long but it’s long enough to give away and I’ve been seriously contemplating on going back to short hair again and would like to donate my hair to like cancer patients or somewhere that it can be used instead of thrown away. Anyone know of a place somewhere that I can do something like that?
