I dont know if this happened to anyone else, but just got an email Welcome to Google One without me subscribing anywhere.
Then saw that I have 5TB of storage and Gemini pro. After a couple of hours everythign was back to normal.

Did anyone else have the same situation?!

Just recently swapped over from Samsung to my Pixel phones for my wife and myself. Little did I know that the Samsung tags were only useful on their hub and not a full android service.

So I'm trying to figure out the find hub and try to match it like my smartthings network.

One thing I really want is how to turn it into a "family hub" my wife and I both had access to the Samsung tags but now I'm trying to figure out how to do the same with find my hub where we can both see our tags and what not from both our phones and not just my tags are mine and hers are hers.

Is there any way to do this or am I screwed now

Not long time ago I have noticed that every time I search anything in Chrome, they make sure to always show AI. Also ok I write -AI in my search, but then I click one of the things in 'questions on the topic' thing and they proceed to show AI for that too. I loved those bars so much bcz I would usually get my answers there but now I can't because of AI

What can I do to maybe fix it

On youtube iPhone iOS beta guys first thing they check is modem firmware version.

I never seen this in Pixel betas.

I keep talking about outdated GPU drivers in Pixel 10 and old Kernel version - so I decided now to keep talking about modem firmware.

I remember long time ago I had Pixel 5 - I still remember how dark display it had in direct sun - 700nits (vs current Pixel 11 Pro 3600nits)

I also remember I had Pixel 4 and going to Pixel 5 increased brightness from 610 to 700nits - it was wow.

I also remember how in Pixel 8 Google was like "F this - we go with full in to top display!" and Pixel went from THE WORSE display on the market in flagships to... THE BEST on the market.

Today - NOONE else talks about display brightness anymore - only benchmarks scores.

My prediction SOON because of Android Desktop Mode in Pixels and Googlebooks (more desktop class apps) people will start talking about... USB C speed in Pixel phone - to support 4K60 or 120Hz video editing directly from USB C SSD etc. for ALL of this you need far more than current 5Gbits

Does any one have any idea what is going on. on all of my devices i have the same problem. there is no more cast infos or where to watch or episodes . its just gone. I hope they have not replaced it with AI.

I recently switched from the Pixel 10 to the Pixel 11 Pro, and after getting enough data in AccuBattery, the difference in battery life is much bigger than I expected.

Here are my average stats from 7 days each. Nothing scientific, just my usual everyday mixed use:

Pixel 11 Pro

Combined drain: 5.0%/h

Screen-on drain: 9.4%/h

Screen-off drain: 2.8%/h

Estimated screen-on time: 10h 41m

Estimated combined runtime: 20h 10m

Pixel 10

Combined drain: 7.2%/h

Screen-on drain: 12.0%/h

Screen-off drain: 4.3%/h

Estimated screen-on time: 8h 21m

Estimated combined runtime: 13h 58m

So compared to my Pixel 10, the Pixel 11 Pro is using roughly 31% less battery overall, 22% less with the screen on, and 35% less with the screen off.

The estimated SOT went from 8h 21m to 10h 41m, and the combined runtime estimate increased from just under 14 hours to over 20 hours.

Obviously AccuBattery estimates aren't a standardized battery benchmark and usage varies from day to day, but this is based on quite a bit of actual usage rather than a single charge cycle.

For me, battery life has been one of the most noticeable upgrades from the Pixel 10 so far.

The top animation keeps coming in and out of focus. I know it’s a non issue but it just kinda bothers me

...though it clearly does. Kinda weird that "don't show posts from ___" is available on almost every other source, except Threads, X (formerly Twitter), facebook, Tiktok, and other social media sights.

It should just be a one time click to avoid these sites.

And despite what the Artificial Ignorance insists, yes, it does show posts from these sites.

This is as bad as the AI digested posts they're polluting the Discover feed with.
