The 'panic' around Lia Thomas was about creating a target people could point at while demanding exclusion. So much of what people “know” about Lia comes from manufactured outrage and years of misinformation repeated without context.

Her swimming career was far from exceptional; she did not come close to dominating the sport and is famous for a race in which she tied for 5th and was beaten by 4 other women.

We (The Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective (TACC)) commissioned this comic to break down the actual story.

I just started getting into comics after being a fan of marvel and dc for decades, just starting out I wouldn’t go searching and only would buy some if they happen to be there, but recently I’ve started going into comic shops and getting things there, yesterday I came across the Thing and Spider-Man 2 in 1 while looking for a nice comic to get signed this week by Jim Starling and I think it’s pretty the most valuable comic in the collection so far but as I said before I’m new, so let me know what runs I should probably prioritize and continue reading, and any comic recommendations are welcome
