Going to be a long post but the main takeaway is that within days of stopping my 18 month old labrador from sleeping in my room at night I got a positive ovulation test at CD45!

28F TTC for 4 months. I have a fertility appointment coming up (going private and hoping to get letrozole) so I was gathering my period history and matching it up to life events.

I've always known that I get stressed easily and it messes with my cycle; each time I've moved away from a toxic job my period suddenly appears. But seeing 2 years of data matched up to life events was crazy.

I had a 120 day cycle when I was planning my wedding, looking after 2 dogs, doing evening classes to change career, and getting a melanoma removed.

After I moved jobs my cycles went stable for a long time until I got a puppy. Then I had back to back cycles of 116, 86 and 65. It showed me how much uninterrupted sleep was important for my stress even though I didn't feel it.

Since TTC I had an 51 day anovulatory cycle in which I moved house so not unsurprising. My next cycle was only 41 days long and I had a beautiful ovulation on CD27. It gave me so much confidence that I could do it again. But in my current cycle I got to around CD38 with no sign of ovulation after testing twice a day for over 2 weeks. Within those 38 days we'd decided our lab was old enough to sleep outside his crate overnight so he slept in our room, moving from our bed onto the floor multiple of times during the night. As soon as we let him roam the house but shut off our bedroom my cycle just went into back into gear.

Looking for some advice about Letrozole and bleed before ovulation.

So I’m a PCOS girlie and this cycle was my first cycle on 7.5mg Letrozole unmonitored. According the Mira and my knowledge I hadn’t ovulated yet so was waiting for my peaks to show. However today when I went to the bathroom there was blood on wiping.I don’t know if it’s my period or if it could be something else? I don’t know if I missed ovulation with Mira? Also I don’t know whether to take Letrozole as if it were my period/next cycle. Any and all advice and experiences shared are so welcomed.

Tomorrow I have my first IUI scheduled. Only one mature follicle. Last cycle I had 4 follicle but we did our 6th TI cycle instead and I’m a bit peeved I only have 1 now.

No male factor infertility and I of course have PCOS. History of irregular cycles because I don’t ovulate… I maybe 3 times a year without medication.

Has anyone struggled with timed intercourse not working and had luck with IUI? Mostly focusing on if you don’t have male factor infertility because I know IUI can help a lot when that is a factor but that isn’t our issue.

I did get pregnant in December but it was determined to be a non viable pregnancy in Feb, resulting in a D&C. That baby was conceived via timed intercourse but we’ve done 5 cycles since then and have had zero luck. Even with multiple follicles (usually).

I’m freaking terrified after reading everyone’s experience. Is this a must do? Has anyone gotten pregnant without doing this?

Has anyone ever had their timing messed up with their partner? We’re on our first cycle of letrozole/trigger shot/IUI and he has a semi last min work trip scheduled on CD18/19/20. I’m doing letrozole days 5-9 and go in for my first monitoring check CD13. I’m super worried the timing is gonna fall right into that timeline when he’s gone for a few days. We could prob make it work for TI but it’s gonna be pretty much impossible to get him in for an IUI if it were to fall on those days. Of course I’ll ask when I go in for monitoring, but anyone else have a similar issue?? Will it end up just having to be a TI cycle vs IUI??

I have been making lifestyle changes for the last four months as well as myoinositol.
I have been testing ovulation for the last month and a half (I get three or four periods a year) and I got a positive LH test today!!! I had a period mid June.
However, I have zero other symptoms. No cervical mucus, no sore boobs, nada.
Could this be a false positive?

I know there are worse meds in this process but I cannot express how much I despise Metformin!!

They've been trying to pin diabetes on me since I was 10 and it's completely fuck me up mentally. I've literally been starving myself in one way or another since then to lose weight. So I've been on and off metformin for years but this is the first time specifically for ovulation.

I'm now at the point where my body is so broken from all the abuse it simply will not ovulate.

All my hormone bloods have come back fine, I'm not peri menopause. My sugars are perfect.

But everything else is wrong my GGT levels are ridiculously high (279) my antiinflammatory markers are high, I have absolutely no metabolism, my body cannot absorb vitamin D. I've also got IBS and eosinophilic esophagitis. I can barely get food in and when I do it wants to get back out as fast as possible and still can't lose weight.

Because of all this I'm back on metformin and have been for 5 weeks which is nothing as it can take up to 6 months work but my nipples are screaming and I have a near constant ache in that area between the lower abdomen and pelvis. I'm also irrationally angry some days which just upsets me.

I'm utterly miserable and it just feels so damn unfair that I'm struggling so much when I'm doing everything right and either no one's listening or they have no idea. No one is willing to look at me as a whole it's all this one specialist or this specialist, and technically I haven't been trying long enough to require a specialist pregnancy team yet BUT HOW is a cycle that has lasted 183 days not a cause for concern. It just feels like everything medical is moving so slow while everything else is moving too fast.

I know anxiety and stress are also absolute killers for this process but each passing day feels like it's snowballing and I hate that.

hey yall! I have been thinking about buying an Inito and was wondering if it would be worth the purchase? It seems that a lot of people find it helpful for the hormone tracking but I’m reading that it only comes with 15 strips, did you find that you immediately purchased extra strips due to the irregularity from PCOS? I’ve been using LH strips but feel like if I am going to keep spending money on those I should just go ahead and try Inito lol

E-surgery etc seem to claim you can be prescribed Clomid by one of their drs with a valid diagnosis from a gynaecologist which i have?

Has anyone else ordered from a website like this?

For background I’ve already done 3 rounds of letrozole but decided to move onto IVF. Due to funding, the nhs said they cannot prescribe me anything whilst i am on the ivf waiting list. I feel I’d like to try Clomid now but is this legit??

My cycles range from 30–46 days, and I usually ovulate anywhere from cycle day 17–24. This month, I believe I ovulated around cycle day 19–20.

Whenever I track and get a positive OPK, my period comes exactly 14 days later. I’m currently two days late but I’m terrified to test because I had an unsuccessful IUI last month that affected me a lot more than I expected. I want to wait until I’m 7 days late to test since I’m not 100 sure if a longer luteal phase is normal for me since I have irregular cycles.

How long is your luteal phase with PCOS?

Looking for anyone with a similar slow-response cycle. I have PCOS, but I was able to ovulate on my own last month. This cycle is a TI cycle, and I took letrozole CD4-8. My dominant follicle has been growing very slowly: 10 mm on CD11, 11 mm on CD14, 12 mm on CD17, and still 12 mm on CD19. My lining was 4.66 mm on CD19. RE is having me start Gonal-F on CD19 to try to stimulate further growth, and I'll be going back for another ultrasound on CD22. I'm worried it's late in the cycle and that the follicle may have stalled, but my clinic still seems hopeful. Has anyone had a follicle stall around 12 mm and then respond to Gonal-F? Did you eventually ovulate, and how did your lining progress? I'd love to hear about similar experiences and outcomes

32F, have 2 kids (natural). Body stopped ovulating after 2nd kid. Starting Clomid today after TTC for a year. I've changed the way I eat and have been taking Inositol for almost 2 months. Also take D3 and Folic Acid daily. My cycles used to be really irregular but have been pretty good the last 5 months, just not ovulating. Anyone have similar stories that ended in success?? Hoping I conceive this cycle. Or 2nd round clomid maximum.

‘Lean’ PCOS, AMH of 5. TTC 17m, ~12m of medicated cycles (letrozole, clomid, or a combo of the two).

AFC as of today was 40 (CD2)

Now moving to gonal f, letrozole, trigger shot, and progesterone after ovulation.

I start both tomorrow night and am hoping for at least one good sized follicle 💕

Ive been diagnosed with PMOS many many years ago. In May 2022 I naturally fell pregnant, but that ended in a MMC. I then actively TTC and fell pregnant in August which ended in a chemical. I continued TTC and fell pregnant in November which results in my beautiful DD. At the time, I wasnt really tracking my cycles but they were around 45 days and on the last cycle ttc I did confirm ovulation via LH strips.

Fast foward, 2024 December I fell pregnant naturally again but that didnt end well either but I was not ttc at the time. now that my DD is 3 I have been ttc and quite obsessively tracking my cycles. i had a 127 cycle from the beginjing of the year to about May. In may I also started taking myo inositol and d chiro along with pre netals. Since May I have had a 46 day cycle and a 38 day cycle (I was able to confirm ovulation in this cycle but did not get pregnant).

now, currently I am on CD36 with no ovulation in sight. I am doing LH strips twice daily and they range from 0.1 to 0.25 and BBT has also been quite sporadic. I was so happy after my last 38 day cycle in which I ovulated around CD27 and was devasted when I did not ovulate around that time on this cycle. I have spoken to my GP and they said they wont be able to refer to a fertility clinic as I have a child but will refer be to gynaecology. In the mean time I am trying to push for Metformin and I feel like I am not doing anything and sitting around is just driving me insane. I am on the higher BMI but was around the same when I conceived my first. I am just so discouraged even though it’s only cycle 4 trying :(

For background I am 33 years old diagnosed with PCOS. I do not have any symptoms besides a high AFC (56) and very high AMH (43). I do not have any cycles without mediation since coming off birth control. My husband also has a normal semen analysis. We will be starting IVF soon. I am so torn on PGT test. What are people’s thoughts ?

I’ve been TTC for a little over a year. Recently diagnosed with Endo stage 1/2 via surgery. I’m 2 months post op and I’ve had painful ovulation pains the last two cycles (unmediated). Does anyone have any tips or advice for how to handle ovulation pain? I never had this level of pain with medicated cycles.

I have been testing my cycle via progesterone blood analysis to try and see if ovulation is occurring. I typically have cycles 34 days on average but can range 25-38 days. It is hard to test progesterone due to the variability of my cycle so I did a series of tests.

This month I detected an LH rise on a test strip first time (only been tracking for 2 months) and also happened to go to get an MRI for a totally unrelated labial cyst (benign yay!) and they noted on my results that I had an “involuting corpus luteum”. I took a progesterone test on the same day they noted the corpus luteum structure on the MRI — result was 19 (they like over 30 to absolutely with out a doubt confirm ovulation).

My specialist said I probably didn’t ovulate at that appointment but we hadn’t had MRI results yet. As far as I know from school science class the corpus luteum is a structure that forms only after ovulation right?

Main concern: MRI and bloods happened to be taken 7 days before period came and 7 days after LH peak (which would be consistent with the optimal time for a progesterone test). My question is why is the corpus luteum already degrading? Shouldn’t it be strong and producing heaps of progesterone to support potential pregnancy at 7DPO? Wondering whether I should straight up suggest progesterone supplementation when TTC cos I have a weird feeling my body may not be producing enough?

Hello everyone! I am 31 years old and I may have PCOS (everything is normal, except the duracion of my period which is 32-38 days long). Except that, I dont have any othe symptom.

I am using myoinositol since 22 of June (2 months and 10 days) because I want to fix my cycle and get pregnant. My cycle was 32-38 days and I am kinda sure that I ovulated, because most of the months I had symptoms.

Now I use this med to make my cycle more normal and be sure that the ovulation is better! I would like to ask you about your experience and the results you show. How many months did you have to take it, in order to see some results? I am not sure if something had changed so far.. I am a little bit anxious!

Recently kind of diagnosed based on high amh and very irregular cycles. All other blood tests apparently normal (never tested progesterone due to not being able to time it with short luteal phase).

I came off the pill 1 year ago and the cycles have been as below: - stopped pill end of August 2025 - nothing for 2 and a half months, ovulated December 2025 and had a period (short luteal phase- 7 days) - January 2026, ovulated cd27, short luteal phase (8 days) - Nothing then until March, ovulated cd45, short luteal phase (7 days) - nothing then into July so took period inducing pills and had withdrawal bleed start of July then ovulated cd20 in July and had a period (8 days luteal phase) - just ovulated again August cd24 but again 8 days luteal phase

We are trying to conceive and the irregular cycles and short luteal phase are making me very frustrated. I tried inisitol from Jan-July and that seemed to make my cycles longer?? Drs will not give me ovulation induction medication due to health reasons.

Before being on the pill (was on it from age 17 to 28) my cycles were very regular. I do have under-active thyroid but managed on medication.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation after birth control and able to share if they saw improvements?

Any tips on supporting my luteal phase to be longer/ experience with progesterone supplements?

My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 9w in 2023 and i had a baby girl through c section in oct 2025 and we lost her due to heart conditions and i am on my first round of Letrozole 5mg prescribed with trigger shot and a scan i am really worried any hopeful stories and side effects to expect

We’ e been TTC for 15 months. It’s been a long journey of tests, cysts, back tracking, and all the things. You guys get it. We just completed our third round of Letrozole 7.5. I’ve ovulated with good progesterone numbers each time, but today is 11 DPO AND I’m still testing negative. My temp is creeping downward. I’m just sad. Starting Letrozole felt like a step in the right direction but it’s still not resulting in a pregnancy.

Anyone have luck on Letrozole after cycle 3? I’m losing hope.

This will be a bit long, but please stick around and read :) Some backstory on our fertility journey so far:

- stopped taking birth control pill august 2024
- eventually diagnosed with PCOS (anovulatory) March 2025, prescribed metformin
- finally ovulating consistently by September 2025!!
- no success since then
- started seeing a REI in May 2026. Had full fertility workup (bloodwork, ultrasounds, SHG, SA for husband) and everything came back fine besides my PCOS
- diagnosed with unexplained infertility and prescribed letrozole + trigger shot with TI

Fast forward to today, I’m on CD2 and about to start my first round of letrozole (2.5mg) tomorrow and I guess I’m just looking for some of your input if you have done a medicated cycle before - any side effects with letrozole? Did you finally get pregnant? How long were you trying before you started letrozole? Were you ovulating on your own already?

It’s been a long time coming but it’s kinda hitting me that I’m actually starting fertility meds and I just want to hear from others that have gone through it too. Can you please share anything about your experience with letrozole? Thank you for reading 🫶
