Iceland doesnt have any natural forests, in the olden days of iceland: people used lamb feces instead of wood since it was so limited! Also, we dont have any trains! However, I love the photos of Alaska! They have a unique charm to them!

What I did on my birthday was going to school, then home and my mom came home early and surprised me with flowers, we then went to a mall and met my brother there and we sat in a cafe and I bought some stamps! Then my grandma visited and soon my brothers girlfriend! We went out for dinner and I had fun! —- Happy early birthday! I’ll send you a card back for sure! Ive been sick before my birthday so I couldnt bake a cake for myself 💔 However, I’ll make that strawberry cake for sure! My favourite baked good is probably the icelandic snúður! I like making them and sometimes eating them too! I wish you the best of luck with the degree! The only thing that changed for me is my ability to vote, there was an election on the 29th that I couldnt be apart of! Halla, our president is super nice! It goes from cheesy dishes from the Alps to Basque cake and also includes many sweet and savory specialties from the Mediterranean coast, the Midi, Auvergne, Languedoc...
