I was thinking of new prompts & one came across my mind.

What do you think public schools should teach & require of all students? What do you think shouldn’t be taught anymore? If you have any thoughts on that subject feel free to send me your thoughts & I’ll send a postcard back.

I would love to see comparative religion taught to everyone & also public speaking. To me being able to communicate effectively is very important. I think most history classes are a waste. You can only bring up & discuss the past so much before you have to tell yourself it was in the past & move on.

My partner's birthday is coming up at the end of September and he's going through a bit of a rough patch. I think he'd appreciate some cards - especially support as he sorts out life. He has many interests but think he'd love art/handmade cards most. We have a farm (a bit of a struggle always), he works in IT (and its dragging him down a little, especially with everything driving toward AI since he enjoys programming and the corporate world in general) and he enjoys the outdoors, nature, and making art (most recently charcoal, and pen and ink).

He's such a great guy and deserves a little extra this year!

u/szzzzzh - I absolutely love cherry blossom trees and I am in love with just how beautiful the postcard is. I did look up the Imperial Palance and I must say, it must have been breathtaking to see such a beautiful structure in the heart of Tokyo; I think it will have to be part of a bucket list for when I do travel. And I must agree, food in Japan seems to be on a whole different level, so much so that it's like magic. Thank you for the postcard and telling me about your travels and love for food, especially ramen!

u/FollowingTheBeat - I must simply agree that a warm and flaky biscuit will beat a croissant any day of the week, and I have had a handful of biscuits in my lifetime; I think it would be a crime to not sit down and go for a good biscuit for like a brunch meal once in a while, something satisfying but also light for a meal between breakfast and lunch when you can't decide which to have. I love the drawings, it gives a kind of gentle and soothing feeling to the postcard while also a little character and personality. I also really love the San Francisco landscame, it has a kind of spunk that I would imagine it would be like in the early 2000s. Thank you for the postcard!
