Question Does Hand Size Really Matter?

I have 21.5 x 10.5 hands and I use fingertip/claw grip.I can say I have tried a lot of mice; I like mice that are wide, mice that are narrow, tall, small, fingertip, brick I can find my niche in all shapes and sizes if I try hard enough (I have Pathfinder and I printed out a lot of pieces to try with it.)

So here is my question: Does Hand Size Really Matter??? I have big hands but I have never really been bothered by the size of a mouse. Some mice don't fit my hand due to their shape and I feel like it's the same with size. I have mice marketed for being suitable for big hands and I HATE almost all of them, but really enjoy op1 which people tell you not to buy If you have big hands.

Anyone with big hands that have a similar experience or am I just missing something?

TL;DR: Big hands + claw/fingertip = Can comfortably use any size

This unit was sent out for review but my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Just uploaded my review of the Orcus, Lamzu's latest mouse and their first fingertip mouse! I had a blast with it and I think they created the most friendliest entry into the to fingertip space! https://youtu.be/s7edws21_q4

Endgame Ok this is endgame.

I wanted to buy a different mouse (in zone mouse a, a great mouse with its own niche shape and benefits). It’s broken now where I can’t use it unless it’s connected with the wire which I didn’t really mind tbh but wanted to look at other options. I mainly play cs2 (lvl10 faceit 25k prem 7k hours). I have a while collection of mice (ec2dw, superlight2, viper mini, deathadder v4) all of them had their own pros and I loved all of them. But this guys this has taken me to a diff lvl of consistency and just sheer confidence in my peeks.

I’m talking about the endgame op1 8k v2. It’s wired and don’t let there other reviewers fool u, u def feel the wire ever so slightly especially if u come from wireless. But the shape Jesus the shape, ur hand (18.5*9) is just completely locked in. I use relaxed claw and I’m telling u I dropped 5 games faceit top frag on 4 of them even won a 4v5 game by sheer aim( teammates were really good as well ngl). I have never felt so one with my gear. I don’t use the 8k option but I genuinely can’t even tell the difference between 8k and 2k. But I can def feel them insta clicks.

I might buy 2 more for safe keeping just in case it goes out of stock. I use glasspad for now the stock skates are gucci but the guy at the store said after a month I can feel it wearing off, but I might even keep buying the stock skates every month just to get this same feeling everytime.

Also end note I’m using an office Logitech keyboard rn cuz my apex pro tkl has some dogshit bug where if I press function key it tweaks out. Please suggest some keyboard for peak tac fps experience ty

Issue Little tip if you have battery life issues or if you just want better battery with your ATK mouse

Hey, i bought a VXE Mad R Major a couple months ago mostly for cs2 and deadlock. I love the mouse, no sensor issues for me, texture, perfect shape for my grip style and hand size (relaxed claw, 19cm/10cm) except the battery life which i noticed was pretty weak on 2k polling rate.

Then i found out about game profiles in the software which massively improved my quality of life with the mouse. I only charge it every 8 or so days when the led on it starts blinking red.

Im making this post because the documentation on how to set it up was pretty confusing and there wasnt a lot of info about it online. You can basically create a profile for desktop and gaming which switches automatically based on if the game window is focused, if it's open in the background but you're not playing it will keep the desktop profile which is better for battery life.

1. Create the desktop config in Config File 1

I like 250hz polling rate because i legit cant feel the difference between it and 2000hz polling rate on my desktop, and i set sensor sampling rate on basic mode.

The rest of the config is based on what you like and doesnt impact battery life

2. Create the competitive gaming config in Config File 2

For this profile i use 4000hz polling rate and ATK Shard Competitive firmware for sensor sampling rate

Dont forget to also change the other settings that matter for you

3. Adding the competitive profile to the games you want

Click on the underlined part of the image, it will open the link game tab.

Find the path for the .exe for the games you want, you can either search it or it will appear on the right when you launch your game. I play other games also but they don't really require more than 250hz polling rate so i dont add them (Minecraft, factorio, terraria etc...). But if i felt like 250hz isnt smooth enough i would probably create a third profile with 500hz or something like that so it doesnt drain as much battery as when i play competitive games.

Then change the config file on the games you added, check if the underlined part is set to "on" like on my picture, if you want to test if it works you can enable the notifications launch a game, if you get the pop up than you're good.

4. Don't forget to allow the software to launch when you turn on your computer so that you don't have to start it manually everytime

Also, when you mess with the profiles don't forget to turn Auto Configuration switch back on again everytime you're done because it turns it off

Hope this helped, if you have questions or if i forgot to mention something let me know

Question Thumb Groove Depth on NP-01S V3 vs. NP-01 Ergo?

How do the thumb grooves on both the NP-01s v3 and NP-01 Ergo feel compared to each other in the hand? I recently had the NP-01s Ergo, and the thumb groove wasn't very deep or satisfying in my hand.

For reference, mice I've used before: Pulsar Xlite CrazyLight mini, Lamzu Thorn (v1)

Discussion Lamzu Maya x or Pulsar X3 Crazylight

I'm looking to get an upgrade from my DeathAdder v2 that I've had for quite sometime now.

I've recently bought a x2 mini off of Amazon but it is way too small and I'm planning on returning it for either the X3 Crazylight medium or the Maya x.

If anyone has any input or any other recommendations that would be greatly appreciated.

Is the superlight 2 also something to consider as it is currently 173 aud which is slightly cheaper than the Maya x

PS my hand is 19cm X 8cm and I use a relaxed claw / palm hybrid

Question Looking for a ergo mouse

Hello! I have been a big fan of the Glorious Model D-, but sadly it broke. Are there any other mice with similar shapes out there? I am looking for preferably mechanical switches, preferably under 60g, under 50$. I have very small hands.

Looking for a Zowie U2-DW alternative.

Outside of shape/button positioning I would say I like every aspect of the U2-DW except where I want to grip. The side buttons are too far back and the natural spot for the thumb is a little too far back for me which makes using the rear thumb button uncomfortable. It might just be the narrow shape of the mouse where the rear button sits as well. My old G Pro Superlight for comparison I would overall say was slightly, slightly, too big but sort of has the same problem where the rear thumb button just doesn't feel great to use.

60g feels fine for me, probably wouldn't want to go more than ~25% lighter/heavier if preferred.

Sensor, switches, scroll wheel, color, I'm open to most things. My right switch half died on the U2-DW, I've had it for over a year, maybe over two at this point and sort of been looking for a reason to get a new one any ways. I don't really have a budget but I'll say $250 which I know is likely overkill. Also located in the US.

Oh fingertip grip as well. Used to think I was claw but I find my hand just naturally falls into a fingertip grip, my palm at best on the fat thumb area barely touches some mice I have used.

EDIT: Fixed some errors

Help Good PC Gaming Mouse with a smooth scroll wheel?

The current gaming mouse I use has a scroll wheel thats a little non-responsive. I don't think its something that can be easily fixed because I've owned the mouse for about 3+ years at this point. As such, I'm in the market for a gaming mouse. I don't need it to be super high-end, but it'd be nice if it had a few extra buttons on the side that were easy to press.

My only big issue with buying a new mouse is the scroll wheel texture. I've had mouses with scroll wheels that have a bumpy/rigid texture in the past and I've had days where my finger felt funky from so much scrolling. I don't need the mouse to be perfectly smooth, just with a texture that doesn't affect my finger if I do a lot of scrolling.

So in short: Are there any good gaming mouses with a few extra side buttons and a scroll wheel with a nice smooth texture?

Hitscan Hyperlight Motion Sync

Does anyone use motion sync on the Hitscan Hyperlight. I've heard that with the older sensor in the mouse that the implementation is not as great as newer mice?

Most mice that I've owned are from before motion sync started to be a thing. Used the DeathAdder 2013, Razer Chroma, and Mamba a lot. Got a DeathAdder v3 but didn't like the newer shape. Also didn't know that Razer keeps MotionSync on by default. Though it seems Razer has the best implementation of it.

If anyone owns this mouse, do you keep it on? I'm 50/50. Small micro adjustments are nice with MotionSync, but flicks and staying accurate feels weird!

Question Which mouse would be the best for me?

Hello guys, after 2 long years with gpro wireless, I finally want to buy a new mouse.

I'me here to ask you which mouse would fit the best for me.

I mostly play FPS in relax claw position

My hand is 17x10 cm and I really enjoy using light mouse.

In the past I used the before mentioned g pro wireless (which I didn't like the shape at all) and Glorious model O.

My budget Is around 80-120€ and I would prefer have a wireless mouse.

Which mouse should I buy with this "specs" and what do you think it's the best for my hand size?

Thanks in advance for the advice hope you can help me!

Question Hey! Are any Logitech Hero 2 and glass mousepad users experiencing tracking issues? I'm thinking of buying Superstrike.

Glass pads are a lot of fun to use, but I want a Hall Effect mouse, and the Haze X lanyard doesn't seem to be of good quality. I'm going to buy a Logitech, but I'm worried about a $170 mouse having issues on Glass pads.

I saw most of the reviewers and users having no issue and some of them does, plz help

Question Looking for a new general use wireless mouse. Gaming, programming, etc. (CAD Currency)

Looking to upgrade my mouse, right now i have the Blackweb AYC which afaik is a cheap walmart brand. I've had it for probably around 4-5 years and it started double clicking on me and a lot of times the right click wont even register.

So i've been looking at mice around the $60 area, i found the Logitech G305 ($60 right now on sale) and the Razer Deathadder V2 X Hyperspeed ($40 right now on sale)

The question is should i get one of those mice mentioned or are there better ones for that price point? Would prefer if it could last 4-5 years with semi-daily use. Thanks!

Question Looking for a new gaming mouse with side buttons

Currently using a razer deathadder I picked up for $30 some 7-9 years ago and I’m finally looking to upgrade. I used to have a first gen Razer naga and absolutely loved it. I mainly play BF6/palworld/terraria so I’m leaning more towards a newer naga mouse or a G600 for those 12 side buttons. I’m worried about the mouse weight being an issue for FPS games. I use a fairly low sensitivity and don’t play any super competitive fps titles anymore. Any recommendations would be great!
I do have larger hands and use what I believe is a palm grip.

Help Mouse recommendation similar to atlantis

hi everyone, i started playing games again after a few years and i bought a pulsar xlite and i realised I heavily dislike ergonomic mice, i was wondering if anyone could recommend any new good mouse similar to the first lamzu Atlantis (shape/size) , which I used to have and really like, as well as any good pads that performs similar either to the razer strider or aqua control 2, as i used to switch between those two often. price isn't really a concern and I'm in the uk if it matters ^__^ cheers and thank you everyone

Help Looking for good extra large mice recommendations

Hi, I've been using the Razer Deathadder Elite for the last few years but am looking to upgrade since my scroll wheel has broken. The most obvious answer is the Deathadder V2 since it is the same shape and size but better specs, but I wanted to know if there were some other mice that are bigger and might suit me.

My hands are quite big (~20x10cm) and I've found mice like the g502, model O and Deathadder V3 to be too small for me despite many sources listing them as large.

Some mice that have caught my eye as potential options are:

Zowie EC1-DW

Pulsar Xlite v3 Large

Darmoshark M9

Pwnage stormbreaker Max CF

Teevolution Terra

I use a palm grip and want a mouse that can fill my hand, any thoughts about what mice here (or others) may be suitable and better me than the deathadder v2? Thanks

Question Zaopin Z2 Max not hotswappable?

Post image
0 Upvotes

My new Zaopin Z2 Max mouse came in and I am trying to swap the switches for the first time but there's no screws holding the ones already inside, despite all the tutorial videos showing that you have to remove the 3 screws to swap the switch. I'm pulling hard but it's not coming off. Am I doing something wrong?
