These two men were in an area annexed by France and conscripted into Napoleons army. I’m curious if the death records of the church make mention of that at all. As always grateful for all the help this sub has given me. You guys are awesome!

I can get all the words except one: Martin G**w [removing for privacy, not because I can’t read it], ? in Basien, Jacob Liedke, Instmann in Tüngen. Just looking for that ? word of Martin’s occupation. The only thing I can come up with is Milaris (soldier) but that’s Latin and the rest of the record is in German, plus the last time I saw Martin he was a Bauer. If it helps to have more context, these two men are witnesses at a Catholic wedding in 1849 in Wormditt in East Prussia. Thank you so much!

Hi folks, I'm trying to decipher what is written in the "Reisepass" section of this record. The other parts are included for context. Any help with reading/transcribing the handwriting would be greatly appreciated!

Moin!

This is a historical 1760s marriage record in Stadtlengsfeld, Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach, Thuringia. I have put a red arrow noting where the town name is so you can still see the full image to analyze the handwriting. Thank you so incredibly much in advance.
