Is it the tire? The wheel itself? It rides fine, but stresses me out when I ride it

The part that's bent looks like it's metal, and I just dunno if I could like, pull it back or.. replace it (if it's even replacable, LOL). Any advice or ideas will be appreciated. ^_^ TIA

I have this plush that my mom threw in the wash and it has completely matted and I tried not to make it a big deal but im lowk devastated abt it and want to fix it. First 2 pics are what it used to look like, then what it looks like now. (3rd pic) It looks kinda like matted? The fur looks shorter and it’s less soft. Idk how to fix it :( already tried to brush it out (attached a pic of what the brush kinda looks like at the end) but it's not rly working. Any tips appreciated 🙏 thank you

So, I have this cool patch and unfortunately the outer yellow ring got stained. I’m not crafty, but my idea is to cover that yellow ring in gold glitter and BAM 💥 it becomes a shiny gold ring!

I assume I should paint glue on the outer ring, sprinkle the glitter and then seal it? But I have no experience & don’t want to fuck this up.

Any advice on how to do this the right way? and seal it without the glitter becoming dull? Thanks!

This sombrero has been in a box for 11 years. The back is supposed the be curved up, but the front is supposed to be flat. How do I permanently re-flatten it?

I went to refill a bleach bottle and got sprayed in the process. I'm really sad because I just got this dress and really love it. What can I do? Will using black dye ruin the dress as a whole? Using sharpies has never worked for me.

My preferred shampoo comes in these big 1 litre pump bottles. The problem is that the pump stops working well when the bottle is still about 25% full. At the moment, I've got 3 mostly-used bottles that between them still contain almost a full bottle of shampoo!

The pump top unscrews and can be removed, leaving a narrow-ish straight neck top on the bottle itself. I've tried very carefully balancing one open bottle upside down on top of another and leaving it overnight, but the shampoo is so thick that although it ends up at the neck of the upper bottle, it doesn't exit through the neck and down into the lower bottle.

I'm open to anything including cutting the bottle open, although ideally I'd prefer to end up with at least one of the bottles still intact and with all the shampoo in it.

For various projects such as making journals and props, I was wondering if anyone knows how to completely remove all of the printed words from a book. Been puzzling about this for some time, and I can’t seem to find a way to do it.

Any advice on how to get the screws out of the frame of the bunk end. I had water damage and they got wet and no seem to be ceased. I was able to loosen and remove a few with PB lubricant. The rest won't budge and are now all stripped as well. I tried a screw extractor and that didn't work either.

I ran over a skateboard and all oil leaked from car onto cement garage floor. I've been trying the following Dawn methods: pouring straight or diluted Dawn onto cement, scrubbing or not, waiting various periods of time up to 2 days, rinsing with water. The surprising thing to me is that the stain is lightened but spreads over a larger area. It seems like the oil is spread along the same path as the Dawn as it spreads according to slight slope in cement floor. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Before this, I was doing surgery on my peppers that would result in uneven results, wasted time, and wasted pepper. Between this and Kenji Lopez-Alt's onion dicing method, it's like I've seen the light and really want to make an effort on how to actually use a knife.

Cut off the top, cut off the bottom. Cut the membrane and remove the core and seeds. Slice down one side. Cut out the remaining membrane.

You now have a long strip of pepper that's extremely easy to chop to any level of fineness.

This isn't the only way to chop a pepper. Some people will have opinions about other ways they think are better. This is the way that I have found the easiest, fastest, cleanest, and produces the least amount of waste.

Actually, scratch that. This is the only way you're allowed to cut a pepper from now on.

how do I attach this sawtooth hanger to my wooden frame? It’s not bendy at all, and there’s no nail holes. Every tutorial I’ve found is for one with nail holes and I’m feeling silly about not being able to figure this out. The plan was to mount it with screws but I encountered a brick wall behind the sheet-rock. There are no instructions for using the 3M PE foam strip that came with it but I know to clean the surfaces with alcohol and to apply pressure for a minute and wait 48 hrs. Still I worry it won't hold. The magnet weighs a pound. Knives are another pound+. Suggestions? Recommendations?

I bought a wax melter to wax my legs and I used the "wax" the kit came with and it's more like plastic than wax. How to do I get the remnants out. I've tried:

•leaving it in the warmer to let it fall to the bottom, it doesn't.

•I've tried scraping it with metal but I don't want to damage the pot.

•putting water in to to melt so it all floats to the surface. It doesn't.

I tried to use it all up but it dries so quickly and breaks apart as I'm removing it making the process even more painful, so I just scooped what I could and put it in a container that was going to the garbage anyway. I bought new GiGi wax and want to put it in a clean pot.

Looking for some suggestions on how to safely and securely level the storage rack in my garage. The floor has a huge slope and probably need to raise the right side about 4 inches. I have already tried composite shims and leveling blocks made for a camper and they really didn’t work well. Same issue with the tool cabinet as you can see. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have a Mersman Bellaire table with a split (cracked) glass running all the way through from end to end. Is there a way to fix or just replace it ?

UPDATE from comments: I managed to get the screw out with a dremel and some screwdriver action… however, one step forward and three steps back because the fixture is so corroded that it is stuck to the fixture that is screwed into the toilet, and the seat won’t lift off. Fun!

I’m currently trying to replace my toilet seat in my flat and seems as though the person who installed the seat (probably about ten years ago, I know… I don’t own the place. I offered to do the seat change to save me and the landlord money on split costs. Regretting it now!) stripped the screw. The hardware is also quite corroded from the humidity in the bathroom.

Do you have any advice for getting this stripped screw out? The Allen key just turns around.

The other screw came out no problem so I know it isn’t user error!

So far, here is what I’ve tried:
- tin foil around Allen key for grip (this just shredded)
- vinyl glove around Allen key for grip (also just put holes in the glove)
- a thin fabric cloth around Allen key (just put a hole in cloth)
- scotch glue mini sheet things around Allen key to stick it in and add leverage (no luck!)
- slightly larger Allen key from tool kit
- torx bit on screwdriver

I’ve ordered the following to try:
- a cheap spare set of Allen keys (I need one to finalise the install so can’t ruin the current one to get this off) and some super glue
- a dremel knock off

Do you have any recommendations for how to use the above to get this out or other supplies that could do the job?

Ok so my marriage is fine but when I told the missus that I couldn't think of a fix for these plastic pieces, she stated that she believed in me and that I could do it, and that I've done it before, so the gauntlet has been thrown down! A little about me, I'm not very handy but I've been known to think outside the box and pull solutions out of my patootie from time to time, but I'm drawing a blank...

The situation is these items are part of a frame for a cover for our backup genny. The force of items on top have caused the plastic pieces to crack and stop holding the support rods. My original idea was to wrap the parts that hold the support rods with electrical tape or zip ties or velcro, or anything to strengthen them but as you can see from the pic, most of them are too far gone.

So question, what would you do? I don't own a 3d printer and like I stated above am not too handy. Maybe something with sheet metal? I really don't know, help??

How do I fix this or generally how much would it cost me to get it done professionally?

I've tried using a drill, a rubber band, WD40, hitting it a bit. It won't budge. Any ideas?

Edit: I don't really have any special tools or equipment. It's my mums house, I'm just trying to help.
