Hurt asf but I've never felt cooler. The staff at the piercing place I went to seemed pretty excited about it too.

I got this navel piercing four days ago but after scrolling this page I fear mine may not be correctly pierced? I included a photo of my laying standing and sitting and the one I’m more concerned about is the laying down one….i wonder if I was not pierced right due to my chub…..but she did pierce me while I was laying down.

What do you guys think should I take it out or go back and ask for a refund?

hello!! I got my conch pierced exactly 4 weeks ago, and today I noticed it looked super messed up in the back :(

I didn't notice at all since the front of the piercing looks super normal, but when I accidentally brushed the back of my ear today, it had blood and a clear, gooey liquid near the piercing. I am very confused since the piercing itself is not swollen at all, doesn't look red on the front, and does not hurt whatsoever (except for the wound, of course).

It was pierced with a flat back labret with an externally threaded screw on ball. I am not sure of the material since they did not tell me at the piercing studio, but it is some kind of metal. I haven't downsized it yet since it is still slightly sore when touched(?)/moved. I spray both sides of the piercing with sterile saline solution twice a day and lightly dry around it with a q-tip.

I want to mention that I am really terrible at leaving my piercings alone; I pick at my skin endlessly and my piercings are no exception. I have been trying very hard to just LITHA, but I do find myself picking at the crusties.

Is this just a scab next to the piercing? Is my piercing infected? What should I do? Please help me!!

I want to have a really whimsical and cute ear, as seen in pic. problem is, I'm a side sleeper and want to sleep comfortably and not be overstimulated during the day. I had a tragus but took it out because it was uncomfortable with my airpods. I've had a nostril piercing for over ten years and didn't have much trouble with healing, hopefully most ear cartilage piercings heal similarly.

If anyone here got a bunch of ear piercings done at the same time, or just has a lot of them, please share your healing experience. do you think it's realistic or too much to be comfortable?

I’m trying to plan which piercings to get next. My ears are pretty big so I might as well pimp them up to the max. I really want a conch with a ring when healed - which ear should be the lucky one? Also considering a double forward helix and/or a double helix ring. What do you think?

Hi!! I got my second lobe piercings around a year ago, and I wore the original studs constantly for nearly 4 months and used saline sprays, etc. Now, one of them is totally healed and feels just like my old piercings, where I can not wear anything or change it out whenever I want, but the other one still hurts. If I leave it out for even just a day, putting an earring back in is super painful and I kind of end up partially re-piercing it with the earring. I feel like 1 year, during which I have changed it out a couple of times, should be more than enough to heal properly.

I have absolutely no clue why this is happening and what to do about it. Do I need to let it heal (which would probably take very little time) and then get it properly pierced again? Is that even possible? Note: outside of pain and redness, it's totally fine; I don't think it's infected.

i want to keep this set up for a long time, but i fear piercing might become addicting for me lol

Just got my industrial done yesterday with titanium and internal thread piercing but i am worrying about the fact that is close to my flat. There is space for a paper to pass between them but i really dont want to take it out if there is a problem

I got my helix piercing 8months ago.

At first, my ear was very swollen during the first few months. After it got better, I changed the jewelry and it healed completely. Once I stopped having an allergic reaction to the jewelry, it seemed like it was healing really well.
Then I lost that piece of jewelry and had to buy an “emergency” one. The new jewelry started causing an allergic reaction, and I’ve been dealing with a bit of pain and a small bump for about a month, but no swelling. I was planning to change it to a good-quality piece as soon as I got back to my hometown.

Yesterday, the jewelry fell out and I didn’t notice. This morning, I realized that I have a bump, but I can no longer see the piercing hole. I’m seeing my piercer in 48 hours.

Is there any hope that it hasn’t completely closed up? Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how long it might take for the hole to be able to be repierced?

A little too late since I’m already stretched up to 2g, but curious if my piercing was placed “too low” or if it looks fine?

does it look infected? it was fine before i got the bar downsized about a month ago and ever since its been red and painful, there is also a constant pimple on the side that keeps reappearing, but its not connected to the piercing, its just next to it. the painful part is the bottom half of the bar underneath my skin. ive been cleaning it but no change, it just stays the same

i got my surface tragus done about a month ago with a titanium internally threaded surface bar. I clean it twice a day with saline solution. the bump on the bottom is new i barely noticed it today when i was cleaning it. It’s a little tender when i clean it and put pressure but other than that it doesn’t hurt.

I recently started going to Brazilian jiujitsu and I'm 8 classes in and really enjoying it. However, I need some strategies for dealing with my piercings. I have triple lobes, rook, conch and helix in my right ear and double lobe and daith in my left. I take out the lobes and the helix for class, my coach is fine with taping over the rook, conch and daith until I get my first stripe (about 6 ish months in for most people).

The daith is a seam ring so I'm not comfortable changing it myself (it's still the jewellery I was pierced with). All are at least 2 years old (daith is the newest). I have solid gold pieces in all my piercings (even my 2nd and 3rd lobes are BVLA pieces). I can take out my conch myself but it's a threaded end and a bit of a faff, everything else is threadless so theoretically easier? :)

What options do I have for jewellery that is easy to change so I can take it out for class for an hour to 90 mins at a time? What tools would make it easier to change out myself?

I'm not ready to give up my piercings for a new hobby yet. I love my sparkly ears for the other 165 hours a week :)

Just taken it out don’t want it to heal up though I’m about to give it a warm saline bath is there anything else I should do
