It's not even just low IQs in a lot of cases, there's a general intellectual laziness trend wrought upon society by the device prompts, the filtered bubbles, "smart" phones (w/ dumber people\*) and AI/etcetera replacing thinking, exercising brains.

Jokes aside, truthiness is a real phenomenon. Many people live immersed in varying degrees of fantasy.

I was 100% sincere in my statement above. No jokes whatsoever. As a quinquagenarian, I've witnessed 35 years of life in America pre-iPhone and 15 years of it post-iPhone.

Let me tell you -- there has been a tremendously noticeable difference.

I was referring to how "truthiness" started out as a joke on the Colbert Report but, as the best humor often is, is based in actual fact.
