She had the practice to project confidence, annunciate, project her voice and keep a straight face in front of the court. She was probably the best choice available.

It's like a reverse Catch-22. If they all decide it should be her because they think she's been to law school, then it really should be her. But, if they're smart enough to know it wasn't real, they would make a better decision anyway.

No. She had to learn lines that the writers felt were convincing enough as "the law" to fool watchers who know nothing about the law.

For what period of time was she learning those lines and reciting them? Like a year? I have no idea how long it takes to film a movie.

So the lines already had a tenuous connection to law at best, and she only spent a short time learning and using the lines.

Filming is usually over a couple of months. Post-production can take a year or so. Usually when you're watching a movie, it was filmed typically at least a year prior.

Correct: We stumbled upon the set of the movie Free Guy (With Ryan Renolds) in Boston, back in June 2019. The movie came out in Aug 2021.

I remember living on campus at SFU while they were filming The Sixth Day in fall 1999, and the movie came out in fall of 2000

Jurors aren't supposed to be making legal judgments or decisions anyway. They're there to determine matters of fact, not matters of law.

Lawyers get selected for jury duty all the time, but they're not supposed to be using their legal knowledge.
