I learned everything about legal proceedings from My* Cousin Vinny*, and then I found out that they actually show the movie to law school students as a way helping to explain court procedures.

Marisa Tomei was unbelievably hot in that movie.

She is just as hot if not hotter as Aunt May in Spiderman. Woman has barely aged a day in 35 years, it's uncanny.

Fuck. I'm so old my first thought was Aunt Mae 1.0 from the Tobey Maguire movies. I was like, "I mean, she's 98 but I guess!"

It's funny to me how each subsequent Aunt May got younger

I can't read the words "positraction" without hearing her voice.

great movie.

you didn't need to qualify Marisa Tomei's hotness to just that movie tho, lol

This isn't an exaggeration, and it's not like some sort of niche practice of some law schools. I would say that most law students in just about every law school in the United States will at least be shown clips from this film at some point in their curriculum.

They usually show the part where Vinny discredits the eye witness by proving that her vision is impaired. He does so in a measured, convincing way without being rude to the witness or offending the jury on her behalf.
