NFL executives rank the AFC teams from Mike Sando
Pretty bleak quotes from the executives on the browns
“They doubled down on toxic," one exec said. "I don't know how anybody can think they are headed in the right direction."
"I think their defense is not going to be good, and that quarterback situation is going to be a problem," another exec said.
"You didn't think the situation could get worse than Deshaun," another exec said. "It got worse. Sanders is not good, and the circus he brings is almost Tim Tebow-ish in a different fashion."

[Not my list] Number of 'Top 10 Players', Per Position, Per Team
Interesting to see a breakdown done this way...
I'd like to say *something, something... this will translate to wins*... but we know wins can't come without competitive and competent Quarterback play.
I look forward to watching the Rookies and Sophomores play. There's a good young core of players here to be excited about.

News Browns’ history suggests Shedeur Sanders will eventually get his chance this season
Sanders is next in line. That doesn’t necessarily mean first-team practice reps like he got almost every other day through the spring and summer, but this Browns coaching staff views Sanders like the last one did: as a developmental quarterback with enough tools to eventually become a full-time player.
Sanders spent six weeks as Cleveland’s primary backup last season before starting the final seven games. But he never got practice reps with the No. 1 offense before he was pressed into game action. He’s now had an entire offseason to learn Monken’s scheme and work with various offensive personnel groups, so he should be more ready when called upon.
History says that’s more of a “when” than an “if.” The Browns have had at least three different starting quarterbacks in each of the last three seasons — and 12 times since the team returned to the NFL in 1999. The primary backup to begin the season has started at least one pre-November game for Cleveland in seven of the last 10 years.

Discussion Dillon Gabriel remains stuck between Browns’ present and his future
Good enough to keep. Not quite good enough to be chosen.
Dillon Gabriel’s strange Cleveland career took another turn when the Browns placed him on injured reserve after his best performance as a Brown. Now the team has delayed making a decision on the quarterback who has spent 16 months in organizational limbo.

Discussion Crazy, but True: Browns have gone 45-straight games without allowing a QB to throw for 300 yards. (Longest streak in nearly two decades)
Thought I’d sprinkle some positivity on this timeline.
