I am loosing a lot of hair recently due to chemo.. is it time that I pull the trigger?

There’s some thinning parts I’ve noticed but the deep widows peak has been there since I was 22 and I’m 27 now.
It would be a huge change to my appearance and I honestly would hate how I’d look

24y and been losing my hair since 18, extremely oily hair to the point where I can't go past 1day between showers. Wondering if I should cut it or try keeping them.

I'm not sure if it's time or not, unfortunately. I'm a little skeptical because of the small wart on the front and the occasional dry, red, flaky patches on the scalp. Thank you very much.

Hey yall I’m three months post full head shave and I just wanted to show the before and after, and also ask the community if I should shave it again, as my hair is SO THIN especially on the sides of my head 😭😭 as a woman this has become problematic. Any advice is super welcome!

Hey all! I decided this haircut will be my last. Still in my 20’s so it’s a leap.

Currently I’m thinking a double edge safety razor is the way to go. I’m looking at the Henson AL-13 with astra platinum blades. I was also wondering if using conditioner instead of shaving cream works with a DE razor like it does for cartridge.

I also saw the Philips Norelco electric head shaver and was wondering how that is. My hair is extremely thick and fast growing outside of the thin patch in the front so I’m not sure if a closer shave or a more frequent one is better. How different is it from a razor? 12 hour difference? 24? More?

I shaved it off last summer and grew it back this year. I have a thinning spot, almost dead middle. Thing is, my hair is so thick within the vicinity you can’t tell. I still have a few years left on it, but the shorter I have it, the worse it looks.

First morning, freshly shaven to the skin, and my head is super shiny. Does anyone either notice or care? Should I powder it?

After thinking about it for a long time, I finally got the clippers out and went for it. Tried 3 mm (#1 guard, I think?), but I’m not sure about it…attending a wedding in 2 weeks.
It also seems like I have a bald spot right at the front of my hairline :/
Maybe try 1mm?

Gen X and don’t want to hold on too long…my partner says Hold, but my barber says let it go.

I recently switched from a some shaver to a DE razor. Absolutely love it. I’d really like to get a shave in the shower, just lather directly onto my face and bask in that steam. However I cannot get a clean shave on the back of my head without a mirror. How are you guys doing it? I take my time so I don’t cut myself, head usually takes around 10 mins. I lather the front and one side, shave, do the other side and then the back. Wipe it all off and check for missed spots. I know theoretically I could just feel for hairs, is this just a skill issue?

First picture set is my hair after approximately 3 weeks, it looks bad.

Second picture set is 3 days after a n⁰1 guard (3mm) buzz cut (same length for beard), I don't know if it looks good or if I should go for a no guard cut.

I'm scared of doing a no guard cut because of my lack of facial hair, and idk how to style it.

Please give me any styling advice you have. Thanks.

I am considering going all in. I have done some research but thought to ask this amazing community: 1) How do you become bald? (with a barber, by yourself) 2) How do you maintain it?
