A perfect example of why we need to decouple healthcare from employment. This man is fiercely defending the right of the ultra-wealthy to hoard wealth, while simultaneously arguing that your right to be healthy should be dictated by whether or not you can clock in for a boss.

✂️ Tax The Billionaires Regardless of political class, we are all part of the working class. The bourgeoisie is provoking infighting through cultural warfare to distract us from the class struggle we are in.
I’m a leftist in a blue state who grew up and lives with a do-nothing Democrat representative. I didn’t realise town halls with congressional officials are a thing until four years ago, when the GOP started cancelling theirs over the Trump hatred. We need to remember that the Democrats and Republicans are being bought by the same people, though Democrats tend to be less racist.
The public thinks midterms are important but rarely considers the primaries. In some areas, a potato 🥔 would beat a Republican in a heavily blue district. Conversely, a potato could win against a Democrat in a heavily red district. Instead of choosing the lesser of 2 evils, people need to support the right leftist or liberal candidate during the primary elections held earlier in the year.
Sadly, many working-class Republicans see the problem but are misled into believing that immigrants, Muslims or LGBTQIA+ individuals are the reason for their struggles.

"Feminist icon" Gloria Steinem was a CIA operative. Steinem ran CIA fronts to keep activists focused on gender and identity politics, instead of class war.
Been a lot of independent reporting on this over the years, but it doesn't seem to be making it into any of her mainstream media obituaries 🤔🤔🤔 https://archive.org/details/redstockings-on-gloria-steinem-and-the-cia_202404/page/n15/mode/2up

🛠️ Union Strong Unions have record-high support
According to new Labor Day polls, workers believe that shit’s too expensive. 4 in 5 workers say their wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living. 70% believe that the country is on the wrong track.
But across the political spectrum, the labor movement has record high support and workers trust unions to fight for them in this economy ✊

💬 Advice Needed When you've caught a paystub being short — how did you prove it to the agency?
Someone in another thread said they keep their hours in a notes app and when there's a discrepancy they bring it up "backed by which days/hours are missing." Said it worked more than once.
Curious how others handle it — do you just tell them verbally, show them something written, or just hope they fix it?

📅 Pass a 32 Hour Work Week A Ukrainian developer created a black hole in his terminal to force himself to take breaks. The more you work nonstop, the more it grows and distorts your code with its gravitational lens. You rest, and it shrinks. I feel it’s a brilliant idea, and one that corporate overlords would totally hate.

✂️ Tax The Billionaires Taxation without representation
Most Americans are struggling under the burdens brought on by the wealthiest people in the world.
We pay to subsidize all their projects that in no way lower costs to working class Americans.
Many of these companies like flock, Intel amazon, SpaceX rake in billions in working class dollars and use the money against the interests of of the people who pay their bills.
The richest country in the world has the worst social system in the world. We get no maternity leave, no affordable health care, ridiculous priced college. What we do get is spied on, data centers, and billionaires who want to destroy the planet we have and move to space.
WE ARE GETTING TAXED WITH ZERO REPRESENTATION!
