Hey yall, I need some help with financial aid stuff, and calling OneStop for answers just isn't working anymore. I've been a full-time student for the past 4.5 years and have been receiving financial aid since I started. It's my last semester now before I graduate, and I found out my Texas Grant, despite saying it's accepted in the UTSA financial aid portal, never dispersed. Long story short, OneStop told me that since I retook calculus 2 in Spring 2026, it didn't fulfill the 24 credit hour requirement for the 2026-2027 Financial Period. The reason it allowed me to "accept" the grant was because they do two assessments on eligibility, one around the end of the Spring and again towards the beginning of the fall. The reason for making the post is because I was also full-time in the summer of 2026, 3 classes at UTSA and one at NVC. Obviously the cyber attack made it hard to contact OneStop, and I couldn't even submit the appeal form. But now I have to pay 3.5 grand out of pocket in my last semester before I graduate. Does anyone have any tips? I submitted the appeal form with a statement and they said today that it probably won't even be processed until maybe the end of this month, September. It just feels so unfulfilling to put in all this work just to get my money taken from me at the very end. These grants/scholarships are the only reason I haven't dropped out is because I genuinely can't afford it.

I left my water bottle in the JPL yesterday, is there anyplace I can look to find it?

I have 3 classes left after the fall semester and want to switch a class that's too much for me rn and replace it with my capstone course or a random minor course. After checking classes open none of them allow me to add them. The drop/add end date is today at 5pm. Am I just stuck in a class I I will definitely bomb.

Has anyone been to downtown rec center? Is it like a hotel/apartment gym? Is it at all comparable to the main campus rec? I saw they extended some hours and curious if it’s worth not getting a commercial gym membership. Of course I’ll check it out someday myself but I’m out of town and was wondering.

I don’t know what to do Im scared, anxious and terrified. I don’t know who I have to beg to let me take the fall term.

To make a long story short I was audited by proverifer+ earlier in the summer and because of a clerical error utsa did not know it was cleared so my financial aid to pay my fiscal hold was not disbursing.

Then when I do get it cleared someone tells me It won’t disburse until I pay off my hold. Which resulted in me having to wait until today to try and pay off the hold.

I got up early. Was on hold for an hour, was transferred to another office then was told that if I could even pay off the hold the payment process wouldn’t even go through until 24 hours. But they say to call them back so they can temporarily lift the hold so I can proceed to register for fall classes.

I pay it at around 3 pm. I call them. Im on hold for an entire hour only for the office to then close on me.

Ive searched everywhere and I don’t know what to do. Apparently registering a day after census is unheard of and not a possibility for me at least that’s what a combination of stuff ive seen. Im not even sure who to call to get this sorted, and when I do Im scared they will tell me I’ll get a definite “theirs nothing you can do”.

I just spent half a thousand yesterday paying off the hold, what’s going to happen to that money if I’m not even registered? Do I get a refund?

As of right now, the fiscal hold notification on the registration site is gone but it’s no longer an option to click on Fall 2026. I get “No terms available for this option” i have to attended this semester. I can’t wait till spring. Don’t know how much sleep I’ll get tonight.

I’m wanting to go to the game Saturday but am having issues trying to use the Ticketmaster portal to get a student ticket and a student guest ticket. Is there an alternative way to get tickets?

Hey y'all, like the title suggests, I need some help in creating a petition to be sent to the SGA regarding the fees we all pay to the organization. Unfortunately, I can seem to find any clear documentation or explanation of the process to do so. I believe SGA is completely corrupt and self-serving to the point of insanity. Of course, I doubt the powers that be would actually allow these changes to go thrugh even if this petition passed but it would be a strong, unignorable message that the organization is in need of serious reform.

I can't login without getting errors. Are we still dealing with web issues from the huge crisis or am I dealing with this alone? 😅

I am a woman and for some reason I’ve been experiencing cramps similar to menstrual cramps due to what I think is because of all the new walking to classes everyday (I average 24k steps daily) Is anyone else experiencing this?

(HCP = Hill Country Place) Basically I already paid the installment of rent and the renter's insurance for both August and September already, and ik August wasn't a full month but like I need an estimate of *when* I have to pay for utilities each month. Since I've basically living off financial aid I have to budget between housing costs and groceries, housing being 1st priority. But like I gave myself an estimate for my utilities and idk if it'll be cheaper than that ofc because a full month hasn't passed yet.
