I am genuinely surprised Razer has not made a PC handheld considering all the product categories they invest money on. PC handhelds are probably selling better than gaming laptops and are far more convenient.

I see Razer investing STILL on mobile gaming peripherals, with the Razer Prio just released. But 0 word on a PC handheld. They should probably be a flagship for a NEW Nvidia Tegra chip.

Insanely low lifespan of their gadgets. I stopped buying razer gaming devices long ago after 2 razer mouses and 3 pairs of razer kraken pro headsets all died within 1-2 years of use.

Recently my girlfriend gifted me a set of razer baraccuda that lasted only for 6 months. And then this insanely cheap platic just cracked and right ear is now hanging on a wire. And if you think its a coincidence, left ear also has a developing crack that would surely lead to another unrepairable hardware issue.

I would never recommend buying razer gadgets, very poor quality, almost like its planned obsolescence. Thank you for hearing me out

hi everyone..I have an old razer blade 14 from 2017 that i use with CachyOS for some work. Its been some time where it experiences ghost clicks (mostly right-clicks) and then the BT mouse clicks stop working until i press the touchpad physical buttons, it works for some random time and then it happens again..sometimes it doesn't happen at all and works fine, so its all random.

So i believe its a hardware level issue in wiring or circuitry (ageing laptop), i have used monitoring tools on CachyOS to detect these random clicks but I do not see them in logging while it happens.

Is there anyway to disable completely on hardware level or if anyone experienced the same issue on similar hardware or scenario? Does the touchpad and its associate click buttons have separate cable that I can pull out to disable it completely?

I bought my Razer Blade 16 about 3 years ago expecting a premium, reliable machine for the price tag. While the build feels solid on the outside, the actual hardware reliability and daily experience have been extremely frustrating.

Here are a few issues I've been dealing with

1. Chronic Overheating (Since Day 1)

• The laptop runs hot constantly, even during moderate non-gaming tasks.
• Fans ramp up aggressively, and the chassis becomes uncomfortably hot to the touch.
• Thermal throttling has been a consistent issue since I unboxed it.

2. Terrible Battery Life (< 2 Hours) (Since Day 1)

• Battery drain has been atrocious from the start.
• Even with battery saver enabled, screen brightness lowered, and basic web browsing/document editing, the battery barely lasts 1.5 to 2 hours.

3. Trackpad Completely Died

• The trackpad has now completely stopped responding.
• Reinstalling drivers and restarting didn't help—I am completely forced to carry an external mouse everywhere.

4. Faulty Keyboard RGB

• Several keys have glitchy/stuck colors or have stopped illuminating properly.
• Synapse profile resets and clean installs haven't fixed the dead/misbehaving LEDs.

TL;DR

Owned a Razer Blade 16 for 3 years. Overheating and sub-2-hour battery life have plagued it since day one. Now, the trackpad is completely dead and the keyboard RGB is failing.

Questions for the community:

1. Has anyone managed to revive a completely dead Blade trackpad (loose ribbon cable vs. blown controller)?
2. Is this level of hardware degradation standard for long-term Blade owners, or did I just lose the QC lottery?

So I just bought a $100 digital Razer Gift Card from GameStop today. The email I got clearly says “Razer Gift Card $100” and gives me a download code.

But here’s where I’m confused. The code they gave me is only 14 characters, starting with an R and then numbers.

I tried putting it into Razer’s gift card balance checker just to make sure everything was good before redeeming it, and it immediately said:

“Invalid PIN code. For further assistance, please contact Customer Support with your PIN’s proof of purchase.”

Now I’m seeing that Razer has separate options for Razer Card and Razer Gold Card/PIN, and apparently the newer Razer Gift Cards are supposed to have a different type of code?

I’m honestly just trying to figure out what the hell I bought before I redeem it 😂. I don’t want to put the $100 into my account and then find out something is wrong with the card/code.

Has anyone bought one of these new Razer Cards from GameStop recently? Did your code also start with an R and have 14 characters? And which option did you use to redeem it?

Just got a 2023 Blade that I’ve spent a week troubleshooting because it’s been freezing in under a minute if taken off out wired power. Digging through forum posts as such seems to be that the 2023 model has an issue with Cstate changes, which cause it to lock up while on battery power, but no real solutions have been talked about. All my drivers, bios, etc updated. All scans for issues bring back nothing. Has anyone found real answers for fixing this?

Guys, I found a solution that worked for me. My mouse would constantly disconnect and reconnect every second and I was looking for help online. If I connect my mouse to the cable directly, it works perfectly fine, yet I still wanted to use it wirelessly. First, connect your mouse to your cable and go to razer synapse. Then go to power settings and change your wireless power saving settings to the lowest number it should fix it. I hope this works for everyone having this issue, and please let me know if it does.

Razer released a new firmware update for the BlackShark V3 Pro 2 days ago. The release notes aren’t really that detailed, and I’m still facing the same issues as before.

I casually went to go look around my local goodwill since I had time to burn and I noticed a pair of Razer headphones on the rack for only $10. I instantly grabbed them and checked the serial number and it was indeed a Nati Ultimate. I immediately walked to the register and purchased them. I just tested them and they work great with no issues.

The Razer Tomahawk itx case couldnt handle gaming temps, this one is a huge step up

got a blade 14 back in '24 so about 2.5 years old. recently have had issues with it regarding the keys, specifically the y key, the 7 key and the g key. I noticed these 3 keys were in the same spot and one by one they slowly stopped working.

I know for a fact theres no debris stuck because I've cleaned it thoroughly many times, so what can I do?

I've been told to buy a "replacement" keyboard but not sure where to get one and if this is a good idea. please help 😭

I'm looking at the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro PlayStation version (only one available for me and want to use it on PC)

Razer lists the connection types differently:

PlayStation version:
2.4 GHz Wireless / Bluetooth / 3.5 mm

PC version:
2.4 GHz Wireless / Bluetooth / USB Wired / 3.5 mm

The PlayStation version still comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, so I'm trying to understand whether the USB limitation is hardware, firmware, or just how Razer lists the supported modes.

A few questions for anyone who actually owns the PlayStation version:

1. If you connect the headset directly to a Windows PC using the USB-A to USB-C cable, does Windows detect it as an audio output/input device, or does the cable only charge the headset?
2. Does the PlayStation version work fully with Razer Synapse on PC, including EQ, ANC settings, microphone settings, firmware updates, etc.?
3. Are there any PC features missing compared with the dedicated PC version besides USB wired audio and Game/Chat Balance?
4. Is the 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed performance, latency and audio quality identical between the PS and PC versions when used on PC?
5. Does the 3.5 mm wired connection still provide both headphone audio and microphone input on PC?
6. Has anyone tested whether USB audio works despite Razer not officially listing it for the PlayStation version?

Couple days ago I posted that my Naga V2 pro has issue with a button from side panel.

I try many things, nothing has worked so I had to disable the button.

Now the mice have 2 new problems, first is the Battery, it either appear to be a Battery leak or the mice doesnt go sleep mode at all. With my regular usage mice would last me 5-7 days, now it only 1-2 day before Battery run dry. Second problem is the connectivity, when I restart my PC or dont touch the mice for a while, suddenly it dont recognize the side panel anymore, I had to turn the mice of and on again then that fixes it.

This problem started ever since I reinstall my Windows 10 and install new Razer synaps 4.0, before that with Synaps 3.0 I have always praise how great the software has become since 2.0 was also trash. I honestly dont know what firmware Razer pump my mice with now it utterly broken. I have the feeling Razer want u to buy new mice since the Warranty is almost over. I bought this mice brand new on November 2024, so my Warranty still last couple more months, I am considering Warranty claim at this point, I am very disappointed.

I’ve got a razer black widow v4 75% with razers orange switches. I really like the keyboard and the switches but unfortunately the switches are beginning to miss inputs. Particularly the s and y key for some reason.

Razers switches are quite expensive by themselves and are not available from my country and will need to be imported from Germany through amazon.

I’m wondering if anyone knows any other more affordable switches that are compatible with the keyboard and offer a similar feel and sound to razers orange ones?

The original ear cushions on my Razer Thresher 7.1 need replacement, and I'm deciding between two options:

1. Standard Leatherette

2. Gel-Infused / Hybrid Fabric

Heat or ear warmth isn't really a dealbreaker or issue for me personally with the stock leatherette pads. I'm purely looking at overall quality, comfort, and longevity.

For those who have used both on the Thresher or similar Razer headsets:

Sound Profile & Bass: Does the fabric surface on the gel-infused version leak sound or reduce low-end punch compared to the seal of full leatherette?

Foam Density & Clamping Comfort: Is the gel-infused cushion firmer or softer against the head? Does it feel better for long multi-hour sessions?

Build Quality & Durability: Does the gel version actually last longer without degrading, or does it eventually split at the seams just as fast?

If heat buildup isn't a concern, is the gel-infused version still worth the price jump, or should I just stick with standard leatherette?

So I am on a Mac and have successfully programmed the 1-12 side buttons using Steermouse while the Naga Hyperspeed is on Bluetooth. But I could never reprogram the DPI buttons in Steermouse. However, I managed to get my hands on a PC and reprogrammed the DPI buttons to "Mouse Click 4" and "Mouse Click 5".

The issue with reprogramming the DPI buttons as mouse clicks is now they are technically registering as Side Button 1 and 2 in Steer Mouse.

Very annoying....

The white rubber sides on my Basilisk v3 Pro started to turn yellow - during cleaning I accidentially scratched up the left side.

I have tried applying black rubber grips from Aliexpress. However, the rubber felt wrong and uncomfortable.

The pictures show the mouse with vinyl wraps.

The mouse has thus turned narrower, as the vinyl is significantly thinner than the rubber was. However, the feel of it is decent.

I can't figure out if I like it, or find it slightly cringe.

What is your take?

Hey everyone, my cousin is looking for a new headset, but he doesn’t know much about headsets and is having trouble deciding. Would you recommend the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed or the Razer BlackShark V3? Is the difference between them really significant, especially for CS2? We mainly care about footstep audio, positional accuracy, and being able to locate enemies. Is the extra money for the V3 actually worth it, or is the V3 X HyperSpeed already good enough for competitive FPS gaming? If you’ve used either one, I’d really appreciate your experience and advice. Which one would you choose?
