Offer Where can I donate my blood?

I've got way too much blood, and I can no longer carry this burden with me. It weighs heavily on me, much like the buckets of my own blood I carry while traversing the rail trail. I need to escape this nightmare I have created for myself.

Question Gage Park band shell got repainted?

Post image

I was taking a walk around Gage park and noticed the band shell lights were on and when I got closer, I noticed it got repainted. When did it get repainted? I don’t remember it looking like that when the festival of friends was going on.

Politics Break the isolation of the National Steel Car strike by turning to workers across North America! For workers’ unity, not bogus USW “solidarity”

We’ve been on strike now for just over three weeks, and it’s clear that our struggle stands at the crossroads. Either we seize control of it, broadening it to include workers across North America in the fight for workplace safety, better conditions and wage increases to make up for decades of givebacks, or the USW bureaucracy will sell us out.

Politics Today is By-Election Day in Hamilton East - Stoney Creek. Polls Are Open 9am-9pm

Check out where to vote with the link. If you have photo ID with your current address on it you do not need your voter card. If you have your voter card but no photo ID a secondary document (utilities bill, internet bill) with your name and address on it can work as a team to get your ballot in the box! If you have any questions please feel free to ask I will do my best to answer them for you. By-elections traditionally have a lower voter turn out than general elections so your votes go a little further!

  • Top part is for filling water bottles
  • Side part is for kids and I think people in wheelchairs
  • Back is a bowl for dogs

When I was a kid they were these green poles with metal bowls at the top. I had to hold my dog up to reach the bowl and turn the knob to run the water. No one complained about my dog drinking out of the fountain. Buchanan Park, west mountain.

Food Looking for good Pizza and Poutine

Hello, I just moved here from Edmonton a couple of months ago and would like recommendations on places for either Pizza/Wings and Poutine. Sadly our go to spots were exclusive to Edmonton only so we would like some new spots to try.

So far the only places we've tried so far that we like is Gage pizza and wings and New York Fries in Jackson Square.

If anyone has any recommendations that would be appreciated!! TIA

Edit: Forgot to mention but im on the Mountain, willing to travel to places near Jackson square though

Recommendations Needed Optometrist suggestions

Hi,
I used to go to Dresden vision on James N but it’s permanently closed apparently. Im, in theory, supposed to have yearly eye exams since I’ve got T1 diabetes (it’s been 2 years…) fully covered by OHIP. pretty sure I have an issue with one of my eyes currently either from it or something else. does anyone have suggestions that are easy to access via transit? I live around James st N area so it would be more helpful to have something close, since I also have mobility issues -
Thanks in advance :,)

Politics City Councilor Jeff Beattie is violating by-law with campaign signs

East of Stoney Creek they are all over municipal properties, sometimes three or four big ones, and then all throughout Stoney Creek and Hamilton East I’ve seen them on public easements. I guess rules don’t apply to city councilors?

Sports Labour Day Classic Hamilton Tiger-Cats: Lot E Tailgating

A group of us will be coming in from out of town for the Labour Day Classic game on Monday. For past games, we have parked in Lot E with zero issues.

From what I have read and heard, Lot E fills up really quickly for this game and people have suggested being there right at 6:30am when the lot open. Is this actually necessary?

Could we show up closer to 9am?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to a great experience at our first Labour Day Classic!
