Controller Mapping 😡

So jump into a match, press my normal button for ‘Interact’ and it doesn’t work!

Fortnite changed mapping, with today’s update 😡, now have to try and remember what things I have changed. Great start 🤣

They have also removed some options. Under General there used to be ‘Reload / Use (Hold)’ this has now gone.

Damn. This happened to me last time i played. First game, I couldn't relaod, so I changed the button to reload. Then the next game I couldn't open any chests or pick up any loot. Is there a fix?

Need to set
reload within Weapon section
Interact (used to be use) within Interaction section.

Can’t find ‘Reload / Use (Hold)’ option 😡

It happens with a lot of updates if you use custom controller settings, dunno about keyboard/mouse?

Great I have pro controllers that I program back left paddle to be D pad left so I can mark things without taking my thumb off the thumb stick but it is a pain in the butt to do. Have to put switch in airplane mode connect to phone and use Nyxi or key link apps.

For real? Man that's one of biggest annoyances, it's usually dint by my kids rather than the ctual developers, what a bunch of a-holes.

Yeah, same thing happened to me with picking things up and using the keyboard arrows for the sprites. What a pain!

So many things to manage with updates. Somethings break. Cant be helped. Just remap in settings

At the beginning of the season I had to set back to default before I could reload weapons. Eventhough I play on default. Before doing that I had to empty mags to force reload.

Same happened to me, I like middle mouse for use, today when I started it was back to e. Weirder still, went into the options, my buttons configured were still custom. Hit apply and everything was fine after, but still, I changed exit vehicle to middle.mouse as well and the only way to exit a car for me is holding E, which beings up comms menu even though thats inbinded entirely.

Change for the better is good but taking away functionality isn’t good.
