This was my first time using procreate fully. I have an instagram account tsovinnar_ but my bf made me share this in reddit for some reason. Idk nice to meet you all 👀

I (Clearly) don't know how to draw, and the only experience I have with animation is from a tiny bit of stop motion I did 20 years ago as a kid. I just kinda felt like giving it a try for fun and thought rotoscoping would be an easier way to start. I used krita and didn't even bother learning how to use it, I just started drawing frame by frame (with my mouse) and it took me about 5-6 hours to get to this point.

It was a lot of fun and I want to properly start learning animation and drawing now! If anyone has advice on good places to start with tutorials and such, that would be cool!

Theres no AI at all! In fact I kinda started this because I got so sick of seeing AI everywhere and just wanted to stick two middle fingers up to it. I figured it might be interesting to see what someone with no experience could do!

He's from a planet with low gravity but a thick atmosphere, so I imagine the physics of trying to fly quickly would be like a mix between a bird flapping it's wings and a fish swimming

I recently decided to learn animation because I watched OPM s3 and wanted to see if animating was really that hard. .. it is.

Still learning 3d this is my first time making a character from scratch in blender then rigging and animating him, whole scene modeled by me the loop in the tv hand animated by me too. Would love some helpful criticism

My first time making animation, this was made in a month two years ago in total despair. I was struggling with I showed this to the public during an exhibition and it made many audience cry, which made me feel so seen and sad at the same time.

This year was rough, so I posted this for fun. Many people have seen it, not really blew up comparing to others, but for me it was very meaningful. For the first time, I felt seen.

Inspired by Love, Death and Robots and Robert Eggers films, ASCENT tells the story of a man on a 19th-century hot air balloon, who becomes increasingly convinced that something is out there in the clouds, watching him.
