I currently use POV and RD. I have got by with RD, but since the issues things aren't what they used to be!

I am coming up to renew, so what's the best alternative debrid solution now that mirrors RD best.

Also is POV still recommended? I mainly watch shows and new movies.

Guess if I switch to say AD, it's just a case of updating that in the scrapers and away we go?

Not sure if its something weird on my end etc but redwizard repo appears to be down and an ungrateful absolutely miserable wretch of a human my wifes bestfriends boyfriend needs me to update their firestick from an old fenlight build. It has been made clear to me that if I do not update it I will be forced into the next game night at their house.... please help me. They are still on realdebrid for the next random amount of months.

Need a little help. Have just updated my system. Running Nvidia Shield. Kodi, and a build. In Umbrella Addon, when I go to set Magneto as scraper it is not listed as an option in the list. When I go to list of addons, Magneto is shown as installed and enabled. I don’t understand why it is not an option in the list for scrapers. How do I enable Magneto Scrapers? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm completely stuck with a playback issue using the official YouTube Addon and InputStream Adaptive. Every time I start a video, it plays perfectly fine for about 20 to 30 seconds. Then, the video freezes and the audio gets stuck in an infinite, stuttering loop (like a broken record). It never recovers.

My setup:

• Hardware: Raspberry Pi 5 (16GB RAM)
• OS: RetroPie (Debian 13 Trixie, Linux kernel 6.1)
• Kodi Version: 21.3 Omega
• Addons: YouTube v7.4.0, InputStream Adaptive v21.5.9

What I tried so far (and nothing fixed the issue)

1. Disabling MPEG-DASH: The video runs past the 30s mark without freezing, but is capped at 720p and has no audio.
2. Increasing Cache: Created an advancedsettings.xml with <memorysize>524288000</memorysize> and <readfactor>20</readfactor>.
3. Forcing ALSA over PIPEWIRE: Started Kodi with KODI_AE_SINK=ALSA kodi to rule out PipeWire sync issues.
4. Kodi Audio/Video Settings: Disabled "Sync playback to display" and disabled audio passthrough.
5. Codec limits: Forced the YouTube addon to use AVC/H.264 instead of AV1/VP9 to ease the CPU load.

The log error: The debug log is flooded with DRM/Windowing messages, but right before the freeze, ActiveAE shows a massive audio sync error that goes out of bounds within 2 seconds:

Does anyone have an idea what causes InputStream Adaptive and ActiveAE to crash exactly at the 30-second mark on a Pi 5? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Long version: Umbrella updated today and when connecting to my Trakt collection, I see only a few items I added years ago when I started using Kodi.

Worse, when I log into Trakt, I find it's been relabelled as "Library" and all it contains is, apparently, every episode ever of Survivor!

Any idea what the hell is going on and how I can get my ACTUAL collection back?

Hey, is it possible to get IMDB trailers working through POV instead of YouTube? YouTube keeps freezing with a buzzing noise after 20 seconds unless I turn off inputstream adaptive and when I do takes ages for trailers to load but IMDB work flawless if I open the context menu, go to information and run the trailer through the skin. Thanks

Suddenly my MDBlist data is gone and the UI seems to not be doing new authentications.

If you have been getting sporadic video freezes and audio stutter with youtube trailers after 20 or so seconds, its not just you.

To fix it download request_client.py from the link(dont right click and use save link as) - https://github.com/ReaLx3m/FLAM-Fixes/blob/main/request_client.py and replace your original one located in Kodi\addons\plugin.video.youtube\resources\lib\youtube_plugin\youtube\client .

Client id has been changed in the request_client.py file as per this commit - https://github.com/anxdpanic/plugin.video.youtube/pull/1482/changes/71a8d9b4b5ceb4cd352843cb050c364bf7be3463 . You can optionally edit your original request_client.py file yourself.

It’s still working and finding sources, but I’ve noticed I’m getting fewer results than I used to. I’ve had this set up for a while, so I’m a bit out of the loop on what people are using now.

Is Cocoscrapers still a good option with Umbrella, or are there better alternatives worth switching to?

Also, is Real Debrid still a good option to use with Umbrella, or have people moved to other Debrid services?
