The rescued ones have said that there are more people alive inside at the powerhouse. Fingers crossed, I hope we can rescue them all

They think that possibly around 39 are still alive down there. After 9 days that's a bloody miracle on the scale of the Chilean miners rescue in 2010. Although I don't think the Nepalese workers have got the same sort of time that the miners had.

They must have had access to a water source. Perhaps flood water had entered the cave causing underground streams or even condensation on the cave walls.

If they had access to some kind of water source, then food would have been a less immediate concern. With fluids people can survive a number of weeks without food.

Earlier reports stated employees said there was food and water in the space the people are trapped in.
