First they came for my coca-cola and I said nothing because I drank Pepsi
Then they came for my Pepsi and I said nothing because I’d switched to Dr. Pepper
Then they came for my Dr. Pepper and I said nothing because the cost of aluminum tariffs had made drinking canned soda unsustainable
Then they came for my water and I had none because it was all going to the local data center

Every expert has said for years that any signs of weakness will embolden them and make a larger war more likely. Trump has done nothing but signal division and weakness.

Trump owns stock in Coca-Cola. It was a clear message from Putin to Trump.
The love bros are going through a messy breakup.

Trump will always go back to holding up a boom box in the rain outside Putin's window.

u/Taymyr 14h ago
Trump owns stocks in thousands of companies. Someone once linked stock purchases and there's well over 1,000 tickers.
I get it, Trump bad, but anyone can own Coca-Cola. It's the 24th largest company by market cap and anyone with an investment account can easily buy KO. If you invest in index funds you almost certainly are a shareholder too.

Yeah except he owns prob 500k-2MM worth judging by his other allocations so he’s a bit more heavily invested than you or I.

Remember coca cola is split in 2 companies, the Coca-Cola company and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
They merged Australia, Asia and Europe. American continent is its own company

Funny how Russia can start aiming their weapons all of a sudden. Was there a kindergarten nearby?

4 days ago, Ukrainian drones damaged a Pepsi factory.
Begun, the Cola Wars has.

u/Sea-Violinist-7353 16h ago
Too bad Pepsi got rid of that navy they had.

u/Particular-Nose-8932 15h ago
If only Pepsi had given that guy the fighter jet, he could have saved that factory....

While probably symbolic this wouldn't hurt coca-cola much either. let alone diplomatic ties.

Sounds like a good opportunity for a quote and a headline, I doubt even the corporation cares that much. It’s not gonna make trump do anything different

You know... saying Russia is bombing American Coca-Cola could actually be a media campaign to invest in. It has the perfect combo of truth and manipulativeness that kinda sticks.
Like when some MAGA douche does their Putin defense you could be like, "Bruh, they're bombing American Coca-Cola. Are you okay with that?"
I'm pretty cynical... but I might have to test out that line. I live in MAGA country, so it'll come up at some point.

Alternatively, they'll hit you with a "nuh uh" and then continue playing with their own shit.

I can't believe they are doing this to each other while they are clearly in love.

Sure, but Trump is too dumb to understand signals. And he only hires people who are as dumb as him so you can't count on Kegsbreath picking up on anything either.

Trump unironically would care about this so much more than other trifling shit like "supporting our allies" or "defending our country."

What allies

u/SchrodingersRSVP 14h ago
I'll wistfully tell younger generations about the halcyon days of old when we had things like "friends" and "partners."

What a stupid way to waste resources in a war you're already losing.

you wouldn't get it. it's genius, you see? you burn the cola factory to make orange mad. it makes orange flip out. what follows?
5
u/Mewhomewhy 15h ago
Nothing. Or probably Putin telling him it was Ukraine and Trump ranting about how it was Ukraine.

As long as they stay away from the Brawndo Factory, America will do nothing. Gotta have those electrolytes!!!

Cocacola drains russian aquifiers and pays russian influencers to promote new russian waterpop and profits, unsustainable growth model forces cocacola to identify and exploit new aquifier resources, lacks capacity to achieve goals, funds influencers into political power, turns to russian government full of influencers to fulfil implementation stage, becomes king of america, finally beats pepsi and banishes them to russia. Pepsi gets an idea. The cycle continues.

u/Have_A_Jelly_Baby 6h ago
Do they not understand the nonstop onslaught of ragebait bullshit we deal with from our own government? No one has time for brainpower to care about a random Coca Cola plant in Eastern Europe.
2
u/Bonamico-Jok38 1h ago
lol honestly this reads like a threat from a mafia movie, but yeah the fact that destroying civilian infrastructure is somehow noteworthy because it's a recognizable American brand says a lot about what's actually happening over there

US can't do shit to Iran. They are afraid of Russia even more.
-4
u/calvin_360 16h ago edited 16h ago
If we can’t do shit to lran then why is the Iranian economy collapsing, where is their “supreme leader”, and why hasn’t Iran sunk one of our boats?
1
u/Mewhomewhy 15h ago
Was “not getting a boat sunk” the objective of the war?
What were the objectives of the war?
-4
u/gglikenp 16h ago
What a fuck did you ask? Can you translate it to English?

u/No-Doctor-4396 16h ago
Maybe switch your news coverage if you believe Iran hasn't been decimated. Notice Iran's missile and drone count is pretty much non existent at this point and it's currency is worth less than monopoly money.

u/Mewhomewhy 15h ago
Maybe switch your own. They control the global oil trade.
-4
u/No-Doctor-4396 15h ago
They used to. Not anymore.
1
u/Mewhomewhy 15h ago
So oil is flowing freely through the strait?
-3
u/No-Doctor-4396 15h ago
It's flowing some. Countries have used other routes now. I answered your question for ya. Strate of hormuz WAS the global route. No more.
1
u/Mewhomewhy 15h ago
No, you spouted delusional nonsense. Countries are scraping by but prices are still high due to them mess.
Can you answer what the objectives of the war were for me?

Zelenski also has a problem with Oligarchs in his country which last time I checked, run the place, nobody while he was in office did anything to solve, and nobody talks about it, but he's not in office any longer, refuses to have election and by all thoughts and purposes has been a dictator in his own country for the last two years, lacking the support of the people who also deffect the army not to continue his war.
This issue with coca-cola will be solved one way or the other, but him escaping the hangman puzzle...slightly more difficult. He is very corrupt and Ukranian people, unlike Russian people who are sitting ducks, have a better track record in revolting against tyranny and oust dictators. That's why he was elected from TV-clown I will remind. "They ate..they ate...they ate...". They were dumbfounded to believe he was better. Now he(and his wife through which he transfers the funds) is eating, he is eating, he is eating. What will the people do against it?

The reality is weirder than ficition.
