Other questions City Campus Wifi Problem
Is it just my phone or is the "RMIT-University" wifi pretty inconsistent recently? I'm mostly in building 100. Contents take longer to load, audio drops off randomly.

Hello, do the weekends count among the āwithin 5 working daysā when applying for special considerationālike how they would deduct points on assignments counting the weekend days? And also does a national holiday that happened on a Monday as well? As an example.

Is there a separate job board where only WIL placements are advertised or is it just the job center one where all jobs are listed? Thanks

Hi guys, I'm a second-year student in the Strategy and Innovations major. I noticed RMIT doesn't have 1800 Degrees Consulting yet (I think they did a few years ago, but it was discontinued). I'm interested in starting a branch, but I don't know many people who are interested in starting one. Does anyone want to join, or do you have suggestions on how I can find people interested in opening and operating the branch with me? Thanks, guys.

To students who have applied for snap and have gotten accepted, what was your atar like compared to the required atar?
I want to do a bachelor of cybersecurity but will probably fall around 5% short

Hey guys, I'm a year 2 pharmacy student
I'm studying for a midsemester exam and have been rewatching lecture content and reading the prescribed textbook and I noticed that the lecture content is just segments of the textbook read out word for word.
It's making studying difficult because I can't read the textbook to help with content I'm not understanding because it's explained exactly the same way. The course material is already hard to understand and I am struggling.
I'm unsure if this is something RMIT would even take seriously if I put in a complaint. I'm just surprised that with their stance on plagiarism, they allow their teaching staff to blatantly read from the textbook.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

had many assignments having been 3+ weeks and have still not been graded is this normal.
I will be joining bachelor in cs in few months so I wanted to ask the cs students which laptop to buy, most of them say mac , but I have always been an windows user and do you need a high end laptop with nvidia graphics card like rtx series for cuda or most of you have integrated gpu and do things in cloud?
How much ram and storage is sufficient.

Hi, I'm an international student, and my student visa was refused. I did not cancel my enrollment, and the census date has already passed on August 31st. I am unable to log into enrollment online as well. It says that it is locked. An application for a refund was submitted on August 7th.
What are the chances of getting a full refund? If not, how much can I expect?

Guys im going to the gp @ the rmit med hub and likeeeee do i needa like print out a impact assessment statement and like ask my gp to fill it out if she could orrrrr like what, im SO nervous
My friend has been extremely sick recently and I urged him to see the RMIT GPs as he is a student and would get it claimed back on his insurance. I was really worried about his health
They didnāt inform him of the $100 charge and made him pay it at the end of his appointment.
The thing is, heās struggling a lot financially and with his mental health and now with his physical health. They shouldāve told him prior to the appointment that there would be a fee. Iām wondering if thereās anything that can be done.
Iām really tight on money too at the moment or I wouldāve helped him out. I feel like itās awful that they put him in for a private slot without informing him of the fee and itās not a small amount either. $100.
Please help out, if anyone knows if anything can be done.

There's only a couple hours left until the census date finishes and for some reason I'm getting this on Enrolment online (Only on Account details/pay fees section).
I already have HECS for the course fees but it's not letting me pay student amenity fees.
Has this happend to anyone else and what can I do? What usually happens if you don't pay the fee by the due date and what would happen in this specific case?
