Reddit API Data API Registration

Data API registration submitted 8 weeks ago, no response - just want to check if this is normal?

Unfortunately yes. It seems unlikely they’ll approve any new applications for the standard API.

Reddit may as well just stop pretending that they have an API. they're wasting everyone's time.

I got rejected immediately. I wanted to do a traditional REST API thing with my own hardware. It feels like too much of a hassle to use devvit for what I need.
