Meme/Macro The Objectively Correct Guide to Enhancing Your Gaming Experience

I was reading a discussion about how much better The Witcher 3 is with a mouse and keyboard. I actually prefer it this way. It made me realize how much people are missing out on when they do not use the correct accessories for gaming.

So here are some objectively correct control schemes:

  1. When playing Time Crisis on the PS1, the DualShock 1’s D pad does the trick, but without a Dance Dance Revolution dance pad, people will assume you are just a casual gamer.

  2. When playing Bloodborne, you should use a HOTAS setup.

  3. When playing a racing game, it is easy. Just use the left and right mouse buttons for acceleration and braking, and the mouse for steering.

  4. When playing a VR game, rotate the image on your monitor by 90° or 270° so that you can experience it sideways.

  5. When playing It Takes Two solo, use one controller in each hand.

  6. If you are into League of Legends, play with a Power Glove while watching the match on someone else’s stream.

And those are just a few examples. Feel free to share more objectively correct ideas for anyone who wants an extra challenge and wants to feel like a true gamer.

The best way to play a fighting game is to use a 3Dconnexion mouse, it is the superior input device for directional control.

When playing any game whatsoever, have a reddit gaming sub on your second monitor to confirm you are having fun the right way.

Top tip;

Amateur gamers tend to use WASD for movement in games. But did you know? Most keyboard manufacturers handily provide arrow keys which literally point in the direction your character will move, so you can look down at your keyboard whenever you forget.

That number 3 option doesn't sound too bad honestly, especially if your other hand is busy.

I actually tried the two controllers for It Takes Two and my brain just broke completely.

I can play Elite Dangerous. With one hand. On an Xbox controller.

And I will absolutely hold my own in PVP doing so.

HOTAS is for peasants.
