The water looks really good. Everything else is eh

u/Honeythickness 1d ago

The water was actually the weakest part for me

u/ElfSocks 21h ago

didn't expect the water to be hand painted on with a brush too, that's why it reads as fake to some people and impressive to others at the same time

Homemade ttrpg/war game terrain is cool

u/CD274 1d ago

I was interested at first because I think it was cake or marshmallows but I got to /diwhy territory very fast 😭

It would be much better if the bricks (blocks?) weren't obviously painted styrofoam.

The fucks wrong with you? lol

28

u/galaxybuns 1d ago

Did you create this?

16

u/Stoic_Pupunha 1d ago

I think you need some coping mechanisms here buddy. Meh is really that offensive to cause this super proportional and not at all personally triggered emotional response?

Touch grass

In light of the highly exasperated nature and discernible detachment from objective reality exhibited in your recent communications, it has become imperative to formally recommend an immediate cessation of your digital engagements. It is strongly advised that you disembark from your current sedentary technological enclosure and relocate to the nearest outdoor terrain possessing indigenous flora. Thereupon, you are urged to initiate direct tactile contact between your epidermis and the local graminaceous blades, thereby facilitating a cognitive recalibration and restoring your psychological equilibrium with the tangible world.

oh an igloo. oh a chimney. oh a pond.

It's fine but would not categorize as oddly satisfying.

Something I would appreciate if my kid made but I think even they'd use clay or something more lasting.

Nice if you’re in preschool lol

5

u/Queen-Roblin 1d ago

It would get you a Blue Peter badge

u/djpiraterobot 1d ago

That painted styrofoam sure looks like painted styrofoam alright.

u/Thelastreddditor 1d ago

The water flow is the satisfying bit for me. Thread is debating taste but that pour really lands.

3

u/youlook_likeme 1d ago

Did your grandma sent you this?

3

u/LostMyBoomerang 22h ago

It was pretty nice until the red mushrooms and then the rubber duckies. A few plants would have been fine. Less is more.

6

u/My3floofs 1d ago

For all the people being insulting, I challenge you to make it better. Everyone is so critical, but I bet most couldn’t recreate this. Someone was creative and found some fun.

2

u/juniorjaw 1d ago

it's cool,but not oddly satisfying

2

u/lysergic_818 1d ago

The cum drip was not the business...

2

u/AdamBlaster007 21h ago

Honestly looks good.

But I hate it because I despise Styrofoam.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This looks like a kids school project

1

u/Cyrano4747 1d ago

Yeah, as someone who's a middling to OK modeler at best, that's kinds crappy work. The plants in particular are awful, and the bricks need some heavy shading work to give it the appearance of depth and weight.

3

u/ShyGuy095 1d ago

Like the idea, even if I think a few things could use some adjustments... I wonder if this was just a project done for fun? Either way, I'm not confident this is the place I'd post this, but that's just my personal onion

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder

u/MedievalMilshake 4h ago

Looked like a portal before adding the 'water'

1

u/awesomedan9 4h ago

Interesting concept, but it feels a bit off to me.

1

u/iCyou1213 1d ago

This is arts and craft, poor edition.

-1

u/Barbzgen 1d ago

Very good effort!

0

u/methedoutmanatee 1d ago

I I thought it was marshmallows and melted chocolate painted on and they were making an edible igloo until they paint the cardboard. Lame af.

0

u/thisremindsmeofbacon 1d ago

meanwhile every warhammer player/scale modeller was screaming at this video like freaking walter white.

horrendous techniques and materials choices.

u/BornDamon 1d ago
