They knocked it out of the park with that franchise. The story actually had moments were I thought 'You know, the bad guys are talking a lot of sense here'. The idea that your choices in game one would have consequences to the story in games 2 and 3 was just mind blowing to me.
mass effect story remind me of the game of throne show . the ending is very controversial/bad/mid etc but overall the whole thing . the story was a amazing run!
And at least with ME3, that controversial ending is only the last scene and epilogue. With GoT, entire seasons were noticeably lower in quality than previous ones.
