This is the best example for this phenomenon!

Every few minutes I was like “Aww, I wish this feature would have been in the first one, aswell.” But it was still funny and entertaining all the way, even side missions were so worth the extra effort.

The final boss especially.

SoT's finale was a parody, but its still an awesome homage to RPGs and having your party members use their best moves one by one as your party dwindles until you "do the thing" was awesome, if also funny. (Even if the "thing" was just a punchline to a reoccuring gag)

FBW's finale is just a gag.
