interesting answer, care to explain your reasoning? I'm one of apparently few who prefer all aspects of TOTK to BOTW and I'm always curious what reasons people have when they prefer BOTW

The story in BOTW kept me compelled and drove me to eventually finish the game. And then start it all over again on Master mode. I’ve finished several run throughs of BOTW over the years and enjoyed every one!

TOTK has undeniably better gameplay, the ability to build whatever you can figure out is amazing fun and super addicting. But the story isn’t compelling enough to keep me motivated to finish. I just go around collecting zonaite and trying different builds. I bought TOTK on release day and still haven’t finished it once, even though I’ve now played it nearly as much as I’ve played BOTW.

that's the thing, unless you've finished, you don't know the complete story so you can't really judge it properly

but that's up to you, I say finish it and truly compare
