Bioshock

Yeah, that's agreeable. First ones story was awesome, second one allowing weapons and plasmids fucking rocked.

Third one is a bit of both worlds, the story is interesting, though a tad confusing, the Gameplay has some pretty great moments, but also feels a lot more rushed pace and not as claustrophobic as the setting in Rapture.

Either way, would still love a Bioshock 4. One was confirmed to being worked on back in 2019, but who knows.

Judas is the upcoming game with the same lead

I don’t think that game is actually going to come out

Prey comes close too. Such a good game.

I'm a huge bioshock fan and didn't even realize there was a dlc. Appreciate the heads up after near 20 years of obliviousness.

Wait, it’s been almost 20 years? Come to think of it, I do remember reading the gaming magazine (remember those?) feature on bioshock when I was… in high school. Damn, I’m getting old

Bioshock 3 came out in 2013. Not yet 20 years but it still feels like a lifetime ago and yet so close

Burial at Sea completely flips Bioshock Infinite on its head in such an amazing way.

2

Crazy.

I absolutely hated Burial at Sea, complete fucking trash, imo.

Really didn't need to tie the events of BioShock to the bullshit magic of Infinite.

No, yeah, it sucks.

Oh really now? Well I guess I need to go back and check to see if I played it with or without dlc.

Honestly if you have played all 3 games you need to play the third ones dlc it's just connects I can't say more but I promise you , you won't be disappointed

I loved 1 and 2 but hated 3

1

u/Pikamika696 9h ago

Yeah, I couldn't really get into 3. 2 was by far my favorite.

2

u/thethunder92 8h ago

1 was more geared towards horror in a way because you felt more weak and vulnerable where as in 2 you get to be the big daddy so it feels more powerful and in control. Both were great in their own way I feel

Same 3 isn't the game they promised. Elizabeth was supposed to be AI and not a loot box, racism wasn't necessary and you can see they wanted to make bigger environments for the hook.

Infinite was definitely rushed. I remember the devs admitting that at one point. There was also a YouTuber who showcased a shit-ton of abandoned content that never made it into the final release.

Bioshock 3 got rid of the puzzle mini game which is a huge W

"Booker, catch!" lives rent free in my head.

This is like borderlands 3 and 4. No borderlands will ever be able to match handsome jack as a villain. Their gameplay improves but the story doesnt hit quite like borderlands 2

u/geedijuniir 5h ago

The ending is what makes it confusing. U first think it's just a man vs dictator but then everything gets turned upside down. The second gameplay confuses u even more. The third it finaly clicks

u/monti9530 10h ago

Crazy how accurate this is

Went on this thread just to say this

u/Big_CashMonies 2h ago

Really want to play then but the remasters are a buggy mess and the ogs aren't the easiest to run on modern machines

1

u/AC1D_R31GN 2h ago

No, Delta has a more interesting and intimate story to rapture

u/GaslyTheRed 2h ago

the first thing I thought and I so glad that I run to the comments to check and here it was xd

Absolutely the fuck not, 2nd one has nothing good going for it and is the worst game I've ever played

Hacking? It's now this shity quick time event that ain't evan that hard and if you're still struggling with it can be spamed

Camera? You know have to waste bullets to be effective with it, if you can evan remember to use it

Weapons? They gave up a normal melee Weapon for a useless one that does practically nothing and can just run out of fuel.
