I tried Omarchy this week. And this is my short review

The good: ...eh... I guess the default LUKS encryption is a good thing?

The bad: installation is obtuse and unclear. it hides everything. I use dual boot and the whole process feels like "trust me bro". Removing pre-installed apps is a pain because you need to go and perform the same process over and over again. The default key bindings make no sense at all.

The ugly: my eyes are burning. the colours. the font choice. the font SIZE. holy shit. And it's all AI art. The whole thing is vibe coded. Agents everywhere. What is this? the matrix?

Summary: at least i tried it so I can complain about it without having tried it out. I genuinely don't like it and I don't understand the hype. DHH is acting like he stumbled upon linux and now we inferior woodland creatures should praise him for his amazing distro.

hi, I'd like to know the names of projects, which are represented in the mascots! For example, SuperTux → Linux, Kiki → Krita etc. I wrote the numbers to show which ones Idk.
