Germany has more castles than the United States has McDonald’s. This is the Eltz castle, located in Wiershem. It has been owned and occupied by the same family for 33 generations over 800 years

They movie The Ninth Configuration (1980) was filmed here. Very underrated horror movie.

Fantastic film. That scene of Keach arriving is hilarious. Movie is in the "Exorcist" universe too, since that astronaut that Regan told "you're all going to die up there" .. is there, for bailing on the space flight!
