Results: She rips hard. Cycles M193 and brass .223 on setting 6 on gas block. After a 50rd link dump the handguard gets piping hot. The rail wrap helps with heat mitigation significantly. I use an H3 buffer and a Springco Orange (.308) spring. Doesn't like steel case Wolf ammo but I still need to mess with the gas settings and/or gas plunger

Since we’re limited to one pic, this is 1/2 safes… Every caliber weapon almost from black powder to .50 cal… And I didn’t know about it until he passed away. Imagine (for you people that don’t have a sense of humor) *the awe I felt* orgasmic warmth that filled my body when the safes were drilled open… Most of these are unfired. There’s also some Derringer .22’s, black powder rifles and dueling pistols not shown to go along with thousands of all kinds of ammo.

These aren’t mine to keep, but it’s a shame to not share.

The curve indicates a rim cartridge. I managed to fit 12 x .303 in one. But they could also be for 7.62R or 7.62 x 39.

I found 12 of them so it's not a Frankenstein mag.

There's no manufacturer markings, but there are numbers stamped on the heel of the mag ranking from 2 to 24.

I haven't found anything it fits in, no it's not for a Bren or a Lee Enfield.

This week marks two years since Paul Harrell passed away, and I thought it would be nice to remember him and talk about what he meant to all of us. A lot of us are from different sides of the fence with different backgrounds and different beliefs, but I feel like he respected us all and is someone so many in the firearms community can agree on. His death hit me like a ton of bricks and I’ve never found myself so sad over a “celebrity” passing.

I had already been shooting for a long time when I found Paul’s channel about ten years ago, but Paul really legitimized my firearms education. I’ve learned so much from watching him over the years and I still continue to learn so much… especially as my personal firearms collection grows and my missions have changed.

My 12 year-old and I watched his hunting specific videos this last hunting season and I’m 100% convinced that knowledge transfer helped my son bag his first buck this past January.

I also still watch him when I’m stressed out or trying to get through a long flight. There’s just something about the way he talks that calms me down.

I’m glad Roy took on the channel and has kept Paul’s work going. I’m sure that hasn’t been easy.

How did Paul impact you? Also, give us your favorite Paul quote, bit of wisdom, or Paulism. One of my favorites was “there’s no replacement for shot placement.”

I have a glock 19, ria 10mm 1911 and a bodyguard 2 so I feel like I have most of my bases covered with pistols. I was looking for a cool, fun gun and I don't like rifles that much because the ammo is more expensive. I like the 92 because I grew up watching movies that had them but was wondering if there was another gun I would have more fun with.

The barrel is 11.5" but the suppressor is 8.2"

I've been browsing for a few days now, trying to find something that meets this criteria. But I've had no success.

I've been wanting to put a Vortex Defender ST red dot on my Glock 17.

My wife knowing I wanted a Vortex Defender, she surprised me by getting me one. The slight problem is that she got me a Defender CCW, not an ST.

She is so proud, having surprised me with one, and honestly got a great sale price on it - $200. She got a bunch of Vortex merch for free with the purchase, as well - Bass Pro gave her a hat, some real nice eye protection, and a bunch of stickers!

I'm so abundantly happy that she went out and did this for me. It's just that it sits a bit small, and I'm not really interested in purchasing a co-witness.

I guess in the end it just looks like it's seated a bit awkwardly, and the window is a bit smaller. As far as performance goes, I don't really think there would be too much of an issue.

G45 Gen 6 optic decision — need some opinions
I’m trying to decide between the Vortex Defender ST Enclosed, Holosun EPS, Holosun 509T, and Trijicon RCR.
I don’t want to impulse buy one and regret it, so I’d love to hear from people who have actually used these. Reliability/durability is my biggest priority, but window size, mounting, height, and EDC use are also important.
If you had to pick one for a G45 Gen 6, which would you go with and why? Is the RCR worth the extra money over the EPS/509T?

I remember seeing somewhat recently a sort of ar/fal hybrid in 5.56. Not any of the old imbel rifles or an fn cal. It was almos tlike an ar-15 lower with an FAL upper and chambered in 5.56. Cant for the life of me remember what it was so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very happy.

What is the difference? I know the typical Super B is in 9mm Largo but there seems to be plenty in regular 9x19mm. What is the difference between a Super B in 9x19 vs a regular B in 9x19?

Lithgow Kit Fal using surplus and plastic mags. When magazine is in and bolt is pulled back the bolt totally goes over the cartridge. To chamber a round, you'd basically have to press the bottom of the mag upwards towards the chamber and hold while chambering a round them immediately goes back to not feeding once mag is left alone. No issues with feeding and extracting other than that.
