Please Read Before Posting

Welcome to r/droidappshowcase. This community is for discovering Android apps, sharing projects, and giving useful feedback. Whether you’re a developer or a user, the goal here is simple: high-quality posts and constructive discussion.

For Developers

  • Use a clear, descriptive title. Vague titles will be removed.
  • Good examples:
    • “Habit tracker with offline sync and reminders”
    • “New Android puzzle game with controller support”
  • Include a meaningful description. Explain what your app does, what makes it useful, and why people should try it.
  • Use the correct flair, such as Promo, Giveaway, or Feedback.
  • If you need testers, beta feedback, or bug reports, post in r/droidapptesters instead.
  • If your post is for showcasing a finished app or a release-ready update, this is the right place.

For Users

  • Share thoughtful, useful feedback. Tell people what works, what doesn’t, and why.
  • Ask for recommendations with clear requirements or use cases.
  • Be respectful and constructive in giveaways and promotional posts.

General Rules

  • Android only. Posts must be directly related to Android apps or the Android ecosystem.
  • No low-effort posts or spam. Link-only posts and vague descriptions will be removed.
  • Be respectful and professional.

If Your Post Is Removed

A removal is not a penalty, and it does not mean your app is bad.

Most removals happen because a post needs better formatting or does not match the rules. Read the removal reason, fix the issue, and repost. Once corrected, most posts are approved.

Posting Checklist

  • Title is clear and descriptive.
  • Correct flair is applied.
  • Images are uploaded through Reddit or a supported host like Imgur.
  • Post has been previewed before submitting.

For the full rules, check the sidebar.

Good posts get attention. Low-effort posts do not. Take a minute to do it right.

Showcase EzySplit — free bill-splitting app with one-tap UP

What it does:

* Split group expenses — equal, exact amount, or percentage per person

* Works out the minimum transfers needed to settle the whole group, not just who owes who pairwise

* One-tap settle: opens GPay/PhonePe/Paytm with amount + note pre-filled, via a UPI deep link

* Export any group's full ledger as PDF or Excel

* Join a group with a 6-character code — no forcing everyone to make an account first

* Free, no ads currently

Honest state: early-stage, small user base, actively maintained by one person (me) — expect the occasional rough edge, and I fix things fast when reported. you can report Bugs/Issues/Suggestions here in comments .

Android only for now. Feedback and bug reports genuinely welcome.

Showcase Always-on-top notes and checklists (Android)

Post image
Upvotes

Play store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.princejkmr.notes_todo_dock

I kept leaving whatever I was actually doing — a lecture video, a game guide, a shopping app — just to peek at a note or tick a box. Home-screen widgets only help when you are on the home screen. I wanted the list sitting on top of the current app, then out of the way.

So I built Floating Notes & To-Do Dock.

What it does:

  • Always-on-top overlay for notes and checklists
  • Check items off without opening a full notes app
  • Collapse to a small side-dock / edge icon, tap to expand
  • Opacity + themes (light/dark, Material You-style accents)
  • Data stays on the device. Offline backup/restore. No account.

Who it is for:

  • Students keeping a checklist visible over a PDF or lecture
  • Anyone using a shopping app who wants a grocery list on top
  • Gamers pinning a quest list or guide snippet
  • Quick capture of a number / idea without leaving chat

Trade-offs I should mention:

  • Needs “Display over other apps” (that is the whole point)

Showcase 📡 BLE Radar — Map Signals. Fund Impact. [Free]

Post image
Upvotes

📡 BLE Radar — Turn your Android phone into a privacy-first sensor for the world around you.

I built BLE Radar because our phones can detect far more about the physical environment than we normally get to see.

Bluetooth. Wi-Fi. Cellular signals. Navigation data. Magnetic fields. Pressure. Light. Sound. Environmental conditions.

BLE Radar brings those layers together and lets you contribute measurements to a shared geographic atlas. 🌍

🛰️ WHAT BLE RADAR DOES

Walk, cycle or travel with BLE Radar and help map real-world coverage.

Depending on your device and available sensors, BLE Radar can collect layers such as:

📶 Bluetooth surroundings

🌐 Wi-Fi environment

📡 Cellular coverage

🧭 GNSS / navigation data

🧲 Magnetic measurements

🌡️ Pressure and environmental data

🌙 Ambient light

🔊 Ambient sound levels

🚗 Movement / vehicle speed

🌦️ Weather and air-quality context

The goal is not just to show nearby devices.

It is to gradually build a shared, multi-layer map of the invisible environment around us.

🌍 THE SHARED ATLAS

The public atlas currently contains:

🗺️ 1,346 measured H3 cells

Every contribution helps expand real-world geographic coverage.

🌱 SCANNING CAN ALSO CREATE REAL IMPACT

BLE Radar connects scanning activity with verified environmental and social impact through 1ClickImpact.

The verified impact ledger currently reports:

🌳 11 trees

🌊 2.7 kg of ocean waste removed

☁️ 2.3 kg of carbon impact

🐾 $1 for animal welfare

Users can choose which available impact cause their scanning contributes toward.

So exploring the invisible world can also help fund something visible.

🔐 PRIVACY FIRST

BLE Radar was designed around privacy rather than collecting personal movement histories for advertising.

The focus is environmental and radio measurements, shared geographic coverage and transparent impact accounting.

💙 FREE ON ANDROID

BLE Radar is available now on Google Play:

Download Now

I’m building this independently and BLE Radar is still early, so feedback from Android users is extremely valuable.

If you try it, I’d especially love to know:

💬 Which sensor layer do you find most interesting?

💬 What would you like to see added to the atlas?

💬 Does the idea of turning everyday scanning into verified environmental impact make sense to you?

📡 Map invisible signals.

🗺️ Build coverage.

🌱 Fund verified planet impact.

Thanks for checking out BLE Radar 😊

Showcase Fix a Marble Run!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

You have to move the parts so the marbles reach the goal. Along the way, you need to collect colorful stars. If the marble rolls over a switch, a laser beam is triggered and can toggle barriers or switches. There are also transporters that send marbles to another location. If a level gets too hard, there's a built-in help feature, but it can’t be used unlimited times. An info page explains the main building elements.

have fun :-)

Showcase I built Sajutong – a Korean Saju & Tarot app for d

Post image
Upvotes

Hi everyone 👋

I’m an indie Android developer from Korea, and I recently built an app called Sajutong.

Sajutong is based on Korean Saju, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny. It uses your birth date and time to explore daily fortune, personal tendencies, compatibility, and more.

I wanted to make traditional Saju easier to understand and more enjoyable for everyday use, especially for people who are not familiar with traditional terminology.

Android:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.water.sajutong

The app includes:

• Daily fortune readings

• Love, wealth, health, and overall fortune

• Four Pillars and Five Elements analysis

• Yin-Yang balance

• Daily Tarot

• Compatibility with friends, partners, and family

• Lucky colors, numbers, directions, and items

• Fortune history and trend tracking

I tried to keep the experience simple and visual instead of making it feel like a traditional fortune-telling service.

One thing I’m especially curious about is how understandable “Korean Saju” feels to users outside Korea.

If you try it, I’d really appreciate feedback on:

• Is the Saju concept easy to understand?

• Which feature feels the most interesting?

• Does the UI feel intuitive?

• Is anything confusing for non-Korean users?

Android:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.water.sajutong

I’m still improving it, so honest feedback is more useful to me than compliments 🙂

Thanks for checking it out!

Promo / Giveaway [DEV] Sentry Voice SOS: 100% Offline (Free ₹0/R$0)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi r/droidappshowcase,

I’m an indie developer showcasing Sentry, a 100% offline voice triggered SOS & sensor safety app built for Android 8.0+.

To mark our expansion in India and Brazil, the app is set to 100% FREE (₹0 / R$ 0) on the Google Play Store for a 7-Day promotion window (Sept 4 – Sept 10)!

- In real emergency situations, you often cannot physically touch or reach your phone (e.g., sudden danger, physical restriction, or phone inside a bag).

- Most existing safety apps either require you to manually press buttons, or they upload your microphone audio to cloud servers 24/7. Besides, most apps get 'terminated' by aggressive OS battery managers to save power.

I built a privacy-first alternative that detects custom voice keywords 100% locally on-device with 'low power consumption'—so you can call for help completely hands-free, even in dead zones (elevators, remote areas, basements) with only a 2G signal.

🎯 Designed Specifically For:

• 👩 Women & Night Commuters: Trigger emergency alerts hands-free by shouting your keyword ("Help me") when you cannot physically reach or unlock your phone in emergency situations.

• 🧓 Elders: Built-in accelerometer sensor detects sudden device drops/impacts and 5+ auto-dials help.

• 🏔️ Solo Hikers & Travelers: Works 100% offline with zero internet permission (0 network packets saved or uploaded).

• 📡 Remote / 2G-Only Areas: Sends location via standard GSM SMS and triggers auto-redial loops (5+ times) even in data dead zones or basic cellular coverage.

⚡ Key Features & Engineering Highlights:

  • 🎙️ Hands-Free Voice Activation: Triggers emergency alerts via local voice keywords 'Help me!' when your phone is out of reach or locked.
  • 🔒 100% On-Device Processing: Microphone audio is analyzed strictly on your device. Your voice data is NEVER uploaded to any cloud server.
  • 🔋 Battery Efficient: Continuous 16-hour background monitoring consumes only ~13% battery thanks to local VAD optimization (Detailed power consumption referred to the screenshots shown in Google Play Store)
  • 📲 Offline Native SOS: Triggers cellular SMS with location coordinates and initiates emergency calls without needing Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  • 🎁 Limited-Time 100% FREE: Normally ₹49 / R$6.9, currently ₹0 / R$ 0 on Google Play (Sept 4 – Sept 10)! No ads, no subscriptions. *No login*.

App Name: FairXpense

What it does: FairXpense helps people manage ongoing shared expenses with a clear record of what was added, how costs are shared, and what has been approved, disputed or settled. Showcase FlickTrove v4.0.0 — Home Feed redesign [Ad-Free]

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on FlickTrove (an ad-free movie & TV tracker) for a while now, and today I just rolled out v4.0.0. It’s basically a ground-up rework of how browsing feels in the app.

I spent the last few weeks rebuilding the home screen to feel more like an actual modern app:

  • New Home Feed: Added an auto-scrolling carousel.
  • Better Feed Flow: Shifted things around so you actually see useful stuff first. Your "Continue Watching" and Watchlist are right at the top, followed by a custom "Trove's Pick" card and our algorithmic Top 10, before dumping you into the generic popular lists.
  • Killed the side drawer: Replaced the clunky swipe-out menu with a simple bottom bar so the whole app is actually usable with one hand.

No ads, no tracking.

You can grab it here:

Would love to hear some honest feedback.
Thanks for checking it out!

Showcase OshiHub — long pages saved as tiles, not one strip

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

App Name: OshiHub

What it does:

Every long-page capture tool I tried hands you one enormous vertical image.

Technically it captured everything. Practically it's unusable — you zoom in, you scroll sideways, you give up.

OshiHub cuts the page into tiles instead. Each tile is roughly one screenful, saved as its own image, in order. You can actually read them in your gallery. The rest of the app is a browser for sites you check often: register them once,

open them from a tile grid.

Demo video is me capturing my own Reddit profile.

Key Features:

- Full-page capture split into readable tiles instead of one tall strip

- Desktop-site toggle (swaps UA + viewport, reloads in place)

- Share captured tiles straight to other apps

Goal: Showcase

Cost: Free, with banner ads. No account, no sign-up.

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oshiralabs.oshihub

I'm the developer — solo, React Native.

Does a tile boundary ever land somewhere annoying for you? That's the part

I'm least sure about.

Review Free chat app. Your avatar does what you type

Text chat, but your avatar acts out what you write. "Drink a beer," it drinks a beer. Face changes based on what you said.

Private rooms with friends or rooms to talk trash with rival fans during a game. Comic Chat was the inspiration.

Free, no subscription. v0.6.2 out this week. Two of us built it — tell me what's broken.

OP here — Tt's called Griple. Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.griple.app&hl=en_US. If you try it, the thing I most want to know is whether the avatar reacting is funny or cringe on the first message.

Promo / Giveaway TallyToo - Count anything, and collaboratively

Post image
10 Upvotes

I know what you're thinking - another habit tracker. But it's not! Ultimately, it's a tally app. The idea is it lets you tally anything.

This really was built so I can track things together with my wife. The thing that pushed me to create it was reading, specifically, to motivate me to read and be at least caught up on my wife's progress on the book we both read.

On top of that we share budgets we can both add to. One of them is bubble tea spend... yup there's a budget for that.

App name: TallyToo - Tally Together

One-line description: A tally app for counting anything, with shared tallies so two people can add to the same count, and the graph as the main view.

What it does / key features

  • Tally anything, not just habits. Pages read, money spent, stock on a shelf, whatever you need to count.
  • Shared tallies. You and someone else both add to the same count and can see each other's progress.
  • Optional targets, with daily, weekly, monthly or yearly periods.
  • Tags to group tallies, plus reminders.

Who it's for

Couples or anyone tracking something jointly, since two or more people can add to the same tally. Also anyone who wants to count something that isn't a habit, and track it over time.

Cost

  • Pricing model: Freemium. No ads.
  • Free: 3 tallies, 1 reminder per tally, 3 tags. Shared tallies and basic stats cards are included.
  • Premium is available monthly ($1.49), yearly - ($9.99), or as a one-off lifetime purchase ($19.99).

Current promotions / giveaways: I have 50 30-day trial codes! Just comment including the word "code" and I shall DM it to you.

Links

Additional notes

Roadmap-wise I've still got a long list of things I want to add, but I'd rather hear what actual users want before I build any more of it.
