How is PhD in software engineering program @ CMU?

I am considering applying to CMU's PhD in Software Engineering program and would love to hear from current students or alumni. What has your experience been like in terms of research, advising, funding, workload, and job prospects after graduation? Anything you particularly liked about the program? Thanks!

One of toughest one to get in general. But phd is different from undergraduate, the topics and area of PhD is more important.

I'm a current 4th year PhD student in Software Engineering at CMU and would be happy to talk about this with you more extensively over DM!
