Does it look good ?

So i went on a date today and my dates ask if she could braid my beard. So she did it and I really like the way it look. So I have no daughters or sisters so I have no idea or have braided hair at all . I would like to braid my beard but have no idea how to do it does any one have any advice on how to braid your own beard or is there a device that will make braiding easier ?

Other than cleaning up the face a bit, is there anything I could do with the beard to improve the look? I hesitate to go anywhere near a barber because I’ve experienced horror where those shears are concerned. I regularly brush my beard and use products like beard oil and balms.

Just turned 26, been wanting a pair of mutton chops since I was a teenager. Finally at happy with my growth! Been rocking em for a month now and no end in sight!

I snagged a management job recently at my manufacturing facility and I’m debating cleaning this up a bit or at least reshaping it to look a little less homely.

I just hate looking disheveled. Any recommendations? Or am I being way too OCD?

Also, have had this style for a while, considering trying something new, any suggestions?

Just cleaned up the sides of my beard and gave it a bit of a rounder shape. How’d I do?

A quick, refreshing wash in a glacier-fed river, a mix of almond and Shea nut oil to moisturize, and a thorough brushing. Looking way less wild!

Saw an ad for caffeine shampoo, I'll stick to sipping tyvm 😄

Still looking neat enough with a little bit of grooming. Gotta stay 'clean' for work. Might visit the barber again in a few weeks.

Grew in 1976 with some weak spots - cheeks and mustache did not connect. It filled in after 4 months.

Kept it short very short for 46 years. Let it grow starting 4 years ago.

What I learned:

• Time makes a difference/have patience.
• Don't stare at your beard - I still see weak areas
• Don't compare your beard to others/work with yours
• Don't worry about turning grey; happens to everyone at some point

This is my first time actually attempting a beard I’m posting just to update and ask for any advice or comments thanks :)

This is one weeks worth of growth. Very patchy on the sides and under my chin. Not sure if I should pursue growing something. Perhaps a goatee? Working on losing weight, as well. Not sure if that affects anything lol
