Hi! We have a problem with towels staying damp for a long time when we leave them to dry on a rack in the bathroom, and instead we have to hang them in other rooms to dry. We leave the bathroom door open for more air to come in, but the towels still take forever to dry. There's nothing wrong with the ventilation as far as we could check.

I've never used a heated rack, but my boyfriend suggested we get one. We checked some options and we found a nice looking one on opalisse, but I'm not too convinced that we should get it. It costs a lot of money, and I'm honestly afraid of leaving electronic devices on in the bathroom, I don't even use a hairdryer there.

So my questions are:

• are heated towel racks safe to leave on for long time? should we only keep it on while there are towels?
• do they really help getting the towels dry or do they just warm them?

If you have any other useful info about them, please share as well. Thanks in advance!

What a good lasting door option contrary to flush or panel doors. I am inclined to wards sliding arch shaped door. I feel it will go welll with my hex tile design of the bathrooms. The space inside is limited space in bathrooms. And I can not spend more than 1.75x of normal door cost.

Please help with what could go well and last long and what mechanism to hang it with.

Tub currently: Acrylic insert/wrap. Drain and head sit ~14-15" off drywall. Visible insert ends at 31.25"

Proposed tub: Kohler Entity 60 x 32, where drain will sit at 17"

Shower currently: Tiled mortar bed. Drain and head centered at 15" off drywall.

Proposed pan: Onyx 48x36, where drain will sit at 17"

The sink we removed was lower than usual to accomodate a wheelchair and wasn’t functional for us. Did some light plumbing work, added a new mirror, shifted the light fixture over and painted the walls SW Clary Sage. Very pleased with the results.

We need to put in a grab bar for my elderly mom- we have hired a handyman to do it but we don’t know if we should put it on an angle or have it straight. Any suggestions???

Will I be able to put tiles effectively here? Some say it should have gone over the lip.

I have a deep clawfoot tub in my apartment. I’ve been using a shower curtain with it but the curtain touches the bottom of the tub which then easily, and frequently, collects soap residue and gets dirty fast.

Do you have any recommendations for shorter curtains (and where to find them) or should I just cut? All that I’m finding are 66”+ in length.

Bought a century home a year ago and tackled a massive remodel. Needed to move an awkward tiny bathroom from the kitchen to another place downstairs and the only spot that made sense was the coat closet. Thought it’d be fun to share, just need to add a sconce.

Renovations finished last week but they finally put the linen cabinet doors back on today and I got some plants so now it’s Done-done.

Hello, this is my bath/shower. As you see there is a glass panel that covers it half way. Unfortunately, water still splashes outside, especially when visitors use it. I am trying to find a better solution but I am not sure what would work better. Would it make sense to just remove it and have a shower curtain? I am thinking that this would also give more colour to my otherwise toned down bathroom.
