Hi everyone! Just moved to Barrie and looking for a house cleaning service (every 2 weeks or so).

We know from experience that they are not all equal - We're looking for someone who really cares about quality of work and house being clean/sanitized, and is attentive to the details without needing reminders of basics.

Looking only for recommendations from those who use these services regularly and trust their vendors completely.

We had a great cleaning company in Vaughan and paid $100 for 4 hrs of work - would expect to stay within the same budget.

I’ve been trying to cancel a new internet connection with Rogers and they won’t let me.

The first issue being that the customer support representative ordered the wrong plan for me.

When I received the confirmation email, I tried to call them and asked to cancel. I had to use a different number because the one with which I got the plan kept going to the AI and it was hanging up on me or putting me on hold for hours!

They first said, we‘ll cancel when you receive the modem, now that I have the modem they are saying we’ll cancel once you activate your plan!
I don’t have a coaxial cable in my unit, so I’m supposed to get it installed just cancel the plan? When I asked them this , they said the plan activates automatically in 42 hours then they’ll be able to cancel it. I don’t see this information anywhere online!
I feel like they are just stalling so that the 30 day trial period goes by!!

What can I do here? Someone please help me.

Barrie Library just announced a pilot project with Cloud Library to allow for borrowed books to be synced directly to certain Kobo models. This removes the need to side load borrowed books via Adobe Digital Editions. I'm excited to try it and just happened to come across the article, so wanted to highlight it for anyone else that is borrowing ebooks for their Kobo using the library!
