I passed today in a 270 jx. Seriously thought that I had failed. If anyone needs reassurance that you can/did pass too - I am here.

Posting this for the UBE takers who have to wait longer for their scores. I made up law on every essay. One essay, I made up 100% of the rules I applied. The other essays I made up law in at least one or two subsections per question. Multiple choice I got down two choices and then guessed. MPTs I felt like I was missing something and didn’t understand. I passed with a 323. Wanted to post this as encouragement for everyone waiting for their scores. I believe in you!!

Was completely shocked to find out I passed today. Currently sitting in my apartment staring at the wall realizing my entire life is going to look different a year from now. Don’t have a job lined up yet but I’m in a good market with good connections (and could leave if I needed to as I got above a 270) so not overly panicked on that front. Just. Fuck man. I’ll be able to move out of my shitty tiny studio apartment! I’ll be able to have health insurance again. I have been in a really tough spot since the exam to the extent I had to swallow my shame and go to a food bank last month. Completely overwhelmed and so relieved 😭

I went from 232-262-284😭

This time I was working full time from the office and only took the Monday before the exam off.

For anyone who isn’t happy with their results- PLEASE keep at it. You can pass this test!!

Has anyone passed here who left any MEEs blank? Or felt like their MEEs/MPTs were shit but studied hard and did end up passing?

thank the Lord, because as a retaker i don’t think i had it in me to go through the pain and suffering again 😭😭 i scored a 301 this time and i’m still in shock! i also had an interview today and i think it went really well 🙏🏽 i didn’t want to open my results before i went tho bc i didn’t want my mood killed if i failed 💀 anyways lol, studying for the bar was the most hardest and draining experience for me. so i really respect every single one who has been through this bc it’s not easy. congrats to everyone who has passed so far and if you didn’t get the results you wanted this time, your time is coming trust me!! as a retaker i know how it feels but please don’t give up and continue to persevere. if i can help with anything pls don’t hesitate to send a message!

I have been nauseous all day and just started bawling. I’m so scared I didn’t pass and I’ll have to tell my boss and everyone will know…

I failed the Kansas bar exam, and I just feel so dumb. I was so close too. I needed a 266, and I got a 260. I’m scared I’m gonna lose my job. I could transfer my scores to Missouri maybe because you only need a 260 there. However, it’s really expensive, and I would still be unemployed. I don’t know what to do. I don’t think could handle failing again if I don’t pass the second time. I’m not even sure if I want to take it again.

Is 2 weeks enough time to prep further upcoming exam on the 24th of September

Am I crazy to consider this? I took it right after graduation and failed (by a lot - not a little). I had a rough summer for reasons I won’t get into and my preparation was very poor/inadequate. I always planned to retake it, but then life got in the way: a corporate job that didn’t require me to be licensed and marriage/kids. I’m at a point in my life where I can actually study (roughly from 9 to 3 while my kids are in school). I’ve asked all of the AI platforms what my odds are. The highest said 60-80% while the lowest was 10-20%. Quite the range! Would love some real life feedback. And please be brutally honest. I’ve always felt guilty for giving up at the finish line and I want this badly, but also want to be realistic.

I have been seeing people claim that KS doesn't provide writing breakdown, but if you just email Amanda Kohlman requesting the breakdown, she'll send it along with your actual essays. I took the KS exam 3 times I'm an expert lmfao.
