LOOKING FOR APP App to Sync Two Android Directories

Hi --

I am looking for an Android app that will sync two directories on an Android device.

Here is my situation - I put a new Android radio in my truck and it has large internal storage. I copied all my music to the folder from a USB drive. I have the USB drive plugged in to my PC and I listen to music it from the USB drive.

Recently I have updated the music library - deleting some old songs I don't listen to, adding new music and replacing some albums with higher resolution MP3s.

So now I'd like to find an app that would look at the existing music directory on the radio and the directory on the USB drive and "sync" them so the radio has the exact same data as the USB drive. I realize I could just delete everything on the radio and copy it fresh but I'm looking for a more elegant solution so any insight would be welcomed!

If both the devices are android and you want to just keep them in sync without any friction then my go to would be Syncthing which also has a desktop client (if you need that)

What I'm trying to do is take the USB drive from my PC, connect it to the radio in my truck and then sync the USB drive with an internal directory on the radio so the "sync" would be between two mounted drives on the radio.

Foldersync can do one way mirroring over USB OTG if the radio supports it

I used to use PC-Phone USB Sync. The interface is not much to look at but it can sync from folders on an android device to a USB flash drive.

These days I use FolderSync Pro.

Take a look at Media Monkey for windows and Android. They work great together. MM can even act as a server.

There's an rsync server for android that'll give you all of the many sync options of rsync :
