Every time I click options to hide or block this ad. It keeps coming back on my recommended page. Is it just me or are you guys experiencing this too?

Look, i’ve seen people glaze firefox + ublock origin on reddit for a long time. Downloading firefox, and open source browser, is free and available on mac and windows. Ublock is just a popular addition that many people get, and i see why.

I’ve been watching youtube for so long, and ads have noticeable been getting worse in recent years, and instead of getting an adblocker, i was like “fuck it, might as well try it”

HOLY SHIT, i have not seen a single ad on the homepage of youtube or between videos, ive spam clicked through videos to test it, and aside from some small latency issues, it’s been the exact same.

I know this reads as like an industry plant ad, but i’ve genuinely found something free and incredibly solid and wanted more people to have it, and if you’re tired of ads PLEASE give it a shot.

I have been following Lakko for the past decade. Admittedly, over the past few years, I have grown out of his target audience, and I have only watched a handful of his videos, including the vlogs from the past two UCL finals, which he was invited to attend by PlayStation.

Lakko has been creating content on YouTube for the past 15 years. During that time, he has made over a thousand videos and accumulated more than 600 million views with the most viewed video having over 7 million views.

Personally, I have been waiting for this moment so eagerly for the past few months. This is absolutely insane for a Finnish-speaking channel.

This video by fern with collaboration with other major creators like Neo just proved that how misleading these AI slop wannabe edutainment channels could be and how they just blatantly practice Plagiarism

Fern’s team got all there rage out for channels that just blatantly copy their thumbnail and overall content which was a fun watch

I personally just love these videos and have been watching channels like fern Neo and many others for a long time now but seeing these AI slop channels ruin the entire community and genre is just sad

I've noticed in the last couple of years, or I don't know if it's always been like this and I've accidentally changed my recommended so I just see this, that there is so many youtubers who don't do anything. They don't go out and make content. They just grab a mic and react to someone else's content, slandering it if it's not for them, laughing and making fun of it. I'm tired of the Disney Adult reactions, the 'Millennials need to stop!' videos (and I'm not even a millennial), "This youtuber is crazy!" videos etc etc.

Dude, go out and do something. Be the Disney adult or the crazy youtuber. I know people enjoy watching mean-spirited people gain a platform through bullying others in their videos but damn, I think we give these people way too much credit as content-creators. I want to see YouTubers who do stuff again, like food reviewers or travellers or gamers, literally anything so long as it's not bullying someone else's original content. I didn't realise there was such an audience for videos of someone being nasty or pretentious about someone else's content. It feels like the popular kid at school holding up their phone and going "OMG look, this is so weird, right guys?!" whenever people make those videos.

I'm so tired of it.

Please YouTube, add in a AI reporting button along with a filter to weed out known AI content.

WTF is going on with all the Members Only channels? I'm not paying a monthly fee to watch a channel. Ridiculous.

This is getting ridiculous. Does Google really think that most people need a new "ai" search icon, which is four time larger than the normal search? Do they even read the room? It does not take too much effort to recognise that most people do not like the ai features that companies relentlessly pushing down their throats lately.

PS. Also I could not find a way to remove this new "ask youtube" icon in youtube settings, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t know how old, but they sound about 8-11.

Recently I've noticed a few videos whereby there is almost no dead air or silence between talking. Meaning whereby naturally there would be a slight pause or gap in a sentence or between sentences....now its like there is an immediate choppy cut to clean up the silent gap.

It's not necessarily a youtube thing, I'm guessing its a feature of editing software maybe? It's just something I've noticed and I feel like it's a bit too harsh and takes away the natural nature of videos.

Anyone else noticed it or has comments?

I have a question for you all and I don’t know if it’s my internet or if it’s YouTube’s servers but has it been slow for any of you recently?

Because YouTube for me has been REALLY slow for the past couple of days. When I click on a video, the video sometimes loads properly but sometimes not and when I’m watching a video, it just sometimes stops automatically while it’s loading.

The video would load for so long and once it’s done loading for a bit, the video would probably play for like 15 seconds to 30 seconds but then it would automatically pause again while it’s loading.

This can’t be my wifi connection because I have full bars and when I’m on data, it’s also on all bars as well but the video usually doesn’t want to play and i don’t know why. I restarted my phone to see if that would help but nope it doesn’t.

Is it just the YouTube servers being slow or could it be my internet connection? (I don’t think it is my internet but still possible.) Because i genuinely have no idea and the reason why i made this post is because i want to see if anyone else has been experiencing the same thing.

Please let me know if you have been experiencing this for the past couple of days. And if there’s anyone experiencing the same thing, when did it start for you? For me, about 3-5 days ago now.
